The romance is literally the weakest part of the show. I find myself wanting to skim their parts. I do enjoy Shinjae, Yeong/Eun Sub, and the little we saw of Luna.
Theory 1: Jung Won does indeed like Gyeo Wool, but he doesn't know how to express his feelings since he's inexperienced when it comes to relationships. He also seems dedicated to becoming a priest.
Theory 2: Jung Won likes Dr. Bae. I don't know, but the smile he gave her in episode 2 was more loving than any interaction with Gyeo Wool lol (bless her heart)
Theory 3: (I could be reaching for the stars, but the writer doesn't shy away from gay characters so it could be plausible) Jung Won is gay and aware of Gyeo Wool's feelings. In order not to hurt Gyeo Wool he keeps her at a distance hoping her crush will eventually go away. I think that may be why he didn't visit her after her allergic reaction even though he was clearly worried. He also doesn't compliment her because he doesn't want to give her false hope. In episode 3 Ik Jun said "He's not interested in women. I have never seen him with a girl , ever." But then jokes that Jung Won is only interested in God lol. He also avoids relationship talks like the plague (relatable). Anyways, his character is still a big mystery. Personally, he doesn't seem interested in Gyeo Wool , and since he has no other love interest anything seems possible.
The little boy with the yoyo is not Gon. He is the same boy that made Tae Eul loose her ID. If Gon from Tae Eul's…
Ahhh, thanks for the clarification. The 2 boys look very similar. Also, I think Gon is still alive as a grownup, not a child. This is me just theorizing.
They are chances him to not recognise him because he was kid when actually he lived but later he says her to forward…
Good point. And Gon is keeping him in the dark about everything so I guess he wouldn’t know. But for someone so meticulous you’d think he knew the face of the man who tried killing his best friend
I saw this on reddit and I've been curious about it too. In episode 2 (around the 56:23) Yeong sees a photo of Lee Rim (the villain) at the boat race event while checking the girl's camera. I had to rewatch just to clarify that the man in the photo was Lee Rim. So did Yeong not recognize him? I find that hard to believe...
Ok, I'm probably going to complain a lot, but rest assured I do enjoy the show!
1. I love WDH, but this must be said. Eun Sup makes me cringe just a teeny tiny bit, and Yeong is a blackhole of personality. Also, I'm not really buying the whole 'bromance' angle yet.
2. There's absolutely no need for all the slow-mos in this show. The library scene was unnecessary. It still felt long even with me fast forwarding every 10 seconds
3. I'm going to need the villain's backstory soon, because right now he feels very one dimensional and I don't enjoy seeing him on my screen.
4. I feel like I should like the PM and find her badass, but right now I just find her character very boring. She was also rude to the head court lady by pushing her out the way.
5. I find Shin Jae's demeanor and face extremely attractive (look!! a positive comment)
6. The little boy in episode 3 that had a yoyo was young Gon, right? I wonder if that was a flashback, or if the mother was hallucinating. I still get the feeling that he might be alive...
I actually liked the 1st episode, but found myself zooming out a lot during the 2nd. I do have critics (no one seems to have chemistry, not even the 'bromance'/ they should really omit the comedy, because no one seems to be delivering in that department) but I do like it.
Spoilers ahead~
There's obviously a time travel aspect to this drama, since there's no way a 4 year old Tae Eul could have been the hooded hero. Besides, the figure had a masculine shape. I think Tae Eul's police ID was strategically left at the scene for whatever reason.
Also, could Republic of Korea Yi Gon still be alive? I refuse to believe that the villain would just kill him rather than somehow using him to gain power.
I love this show so much. I could care less who ends up with who. Romance isn’t a focal point for me, because everyone (including the side characters) has such a complex and wholesome relationship. On a side note: the twin medical students are so darn cute.
I must have missed the explanation. I understand that the zombies in the palace were drowned in the lake, but what about all the other zombies roaming around outside the palace in different cities? Where have they been for the last 7 years? Hibernation?
First of all, I finished this all in one setting and WOW. I loved this just as much as season 1 (dear I say it may be better. I was constantly on the edge of my seat)!!! Honestly, these 6 episode seasons are such a tease and I hope we don't have to wait long for season 3. I have soooooo many questions, but I liked how they tried clearing up the confusion in the last episode.
