This show is literally SO good even though the angst (esp the preview for tomorrow) has me in a chokehold. I like how this is very multi-genre and keeps the interest up. Would love to read a novel version of this, give me a whole trilogy tbh for contemporary, 600 yrs and 1k years ago xD
This week's episodes were SO good. I adored the domestic scenes (is that Hwal finally having a cute wardrobe? and maybe allowing himself to interpret things differently? aww) BUT THE REAL DEAL was THAT ending scene! and now, we wait a whole week, its so tough :((
GSY is a stunning stunning lady and an amazing actress but if I see any slander against Kwon Nara because people…
She's actually doing such an amazing job, you're so right! If we don't have any of Sang-un's optimism, the show would just be an endless sensationalization of pain and hurt. Also, Kwon Nara's acting shines when we put all the various reincarnations side-by-side. And, the clothing is okay, I guess, I don't mind it. When an actor is playing multiple roles in the same show, I know that the creators prefer to characterize them very differently, sometimes using clothing as a tool. Hwa-yeon's clothes (majestic, beautiful, unique) come starkly in comparison to Sang-Un's (pretty simple, emblematic of her previous workplace where everyone dressed similarly). I can understand that being on the run from one bulgasal while being hyperaware of another bulgasal's company doesn't give her much time for fashion, and that's okay. Finally, I feel the cast is overall really good in terms of acting. They all portray their own characters quite well so I'm satisfied. Thank you for asking people to be respectful :)
I think I have a new favourite episode and its episode 11 because wow, this was amazing! I can't wait to know…
I like how this drama really rewards viewers the more we watch it, like we *knew* Hwal went way back than just 600 years and now we get to see it slowly unfolding. Also, Hwal smiling is probably the best thing ever, our boy needs more happiness and smiles :')
I think I have a new favourite episode and its episode 11 because wow, this was amazing! I can't wait to know more about the 1000 years ago timeline. I'm so excited to find out more!
Me: who were the couple who witnessed Ok Eul Tae murdering his brother 1000 yrs ago?The writers: wouldn't you…
I saw your theory in the theory thread rn and as someone who has literally fantasized every angle possible in my mind, your theory is super interesting tbh :) Would really like to see the witness couple's faces closely but for now this is great!
All I do is try to piece together the 1000 yrs ago story every single day only to have the writers deny me that while telling us everything else in the preview
Am I the only one who love both FL & doesn't bother if Hwal end up with either of one? This drama is so much more…
Literally, I'm here for the story and I'm enjoying it so much. I really don't care where the romance goes. I actually enjoy Hwal and Sangwoon's characters (its obvious why they are the way they are if one follows their long sad story) in their individual own right. I don't think Hwal cares for romance much either given the fact that he literally want to disappear after his revenge. I also just really love Hwal's fun scenes bickering with the Shaman reincarnation + the other characters bonding.
Thank you for asking people to be respectful :)
The writers: wouldn't you like to know? ;)
