Really missed KJH in ep 2. Hope he gets tons of screen time in upcoming eps. This drama has a large supporting cast I don't care about with the insurance people, cops, etc. None of them are particularly interesting. I just wanna watch the 3 leads.
Really enjoyed the first episode. Strong performances from the three leads and I like the chemistry between PMY/WHJ. I'm most excited to see what happens with KJH's character...his vibe was way darker than I was expecting!
This drama really went downhill with the introduction of the dad. The character and his relationship with Eun Mi are so boring. Wish all the time spent on him was given to Jae Won instead.
at the start, BJE was forcing a connection with people just bc they were her loved ones from her past lives. (why does she like SH? bc they had a connection in her 18th life.)
at the end, SH and CW (and everyone else) are now the ones trying to force a connection with JE based on the past she no longer remembers.
i think i would've preferred if they all forgot their memories in the end not just BJE. and with a clean slate, they find and truly get to know each other unburdened by the past. that would've been my ending.
i really didn't enjoy how this writer handled character/relationship development in this drama. too much reliance on the past instead of meaningful growth and interactions in the present. zero depth.
so much time and effort was spent on BJE's past...the drama made it the foundation of EVERYTHING. ...and she just forgot everything in the end. couldn't help but laugh.
this drama really failed with the character and relationship development. there's no depth. 2 eps to go and i'm not emotionally attached to anyone. even the big emotional moments they give to SHS fall flat and she's my fave actress. idk everything is just off here.
I really don't feel the connection/chemistry between Jieum and Seoha. Their love story is entirely driven by the childhood connection in her 18th life and now their connection in the 1st life. Jieum/Seoha in the present are just an afterthought...
The webtoon is a fairly straightforward story so it should've been easy to adapt into a good 12 ep drama. But nah, writer decided to be difficult and add so many new subplots. 💀
The biggest letdown of this drama is the romance. Both couples aren't clicking for me. I like the actors but there's no chemistry/spark. I'm watching for the sisters' relationship and the Mr. Queen duo.
production is good. i like the pastel aesthetic.

I'm wheezing. Minki is so real for this.
