mm. There was two times I felt really emotional during the show. One was when the ML tried to give the FL the hand weaved Birthday gift but the prince had prepared a big fireworks for her. The ML back off without giving her the gift. The other was when the FL left for capital and the ML prepared gifts for her to be taken to the capital.

Thank you. Then I might not be watching this drama because I might root for Li Yan Shu and Gu Jin Yun. I always tend to root for the Ex. Also I hate triangle involving an Ex.

She realized something was wrong only after she and ML were attacked by the men in black. She started to have some doubts towards He Zhen only after she accidentally found out about the sword wound by ML after He Zhen saved the FL from attackers. But she decided to go with He Zhen way before that. She said yes right after He Zhen revealed himself. The reason is to fulfill her promise and He Zhen was pitiful, like you said.
I am not that annoyed by her decision to leave for the capital. But more annoyed when she didn't make a stand when the He Zhen courted her. She didn't chose ML then even though she loved him. That was before she even knew He Zhen was the one she is looking for. One might say she did it to not offend the lord or to add more comedy pieces. Bu I didn't like it.

I didn't feel any sympathy towards him because he is an evil character irrespective of whatever justification he has to say. His love for FL is real but never deserved.

I am okay with the usual trope rich ML/Poor FL. But not okay with the ML being total jerk through out.

What does the break up mean in this drama? I mean they are married couples, right? Do they gets divorced?

When I was watching the show I saw your comment. So I was really afraid there is gonna be some big triangle happening between the ML and Song Juan Xi. But in the end I was relieved it wasn't much and the misunderstanding was cleared pretty quickly. So I was replying for the people who are like me, tensing over this, to not worry too much.

Does this drama span for a short period of time. I mean in the synopsis it is said that the leads met during an earthquake and they both try to save lives together. So what I wanna ask is that does the drama focus only one this period of time?

I am hating that idea. For me I only see him as a side character who has crush on the FL. But it is just my opinion. I never considered him as a suitable candidate, even for a second, and the flash back scenes were not that great to invoke any attention. I was afraid of a triangle going between him and ML. But it got resolved pretty quickly and it made the importance of Song Jun Xi fade even more.

I don't know why some people are rooting for Song Juan Xi and Lu Jia. I never even for a second considered him over the ML. For me he is just a guy who has a one sided crush on FL and their story was nowhere near to the extend that it would cause me SLS. For me they didn't even entered to the friend zone. Also his role in the drama is too short and he only appears in the last quarter of the show.

For me he didn't make any impact on the drama romantically. I just saw him as a guy who is destined to just watch the FL from the side. His role wasn't that big enough for me to be caught by SLS.
