I discovered Asian cinema 3 years ago and love it. But I never dreamed that my new found love would include news…
I'm like you. I started getting into Korean dramas in the summer of 2020. I unexpectedly lost my dad in May of 2020-not Covid related and I couldn't function. I love martial arts and saw a snippet of Rugal on Netflix. I needed something to help me to be able to get back to normal without my dad and decided to watch this and loved it. It was my first favorite Korean drama and will always be. Since then I've been watching any and every Korean action drama I can find. I think this is the third Korean actor I'm familiar with that took his own life. I know it's not possible but I hope nobody else will do this.
I tried to figure out what I've seen this guy in because I only saw him in one drama and that was Diary Of A Prosecutor. I liked that drama and is shocked to learn it was the main character in that one. I'm not good at names so trying to remotely guess a foreign name is like trying to learn the whole Korean language in one day. Once I realized who it was, it felt like a sucker punch to the gut. Instead of dealing with his troubles he leaves it to his family to deal with. That's pretty selfish.
Actually the first 3 are this way. I don't know where the director is going with these episodes. I'm about to…
Yeah...I thought I was on episode 4 but it was episode 3...I finished that but haven't been back to watch. I'm usually watching K dramas left and right but after watching a dismal Uncanny Counter 2 and this one...I haven't been back to watch any K dramas. Most of them are rom-coms and I loathe anything that has romance in it.

Kind of a let down. He doesn't even fight in this drama. It's the only reason I watched it. I only seen him fight in two dramas and the rest he acts as if he can't fight. I seriously hate that.
Good grief I suck at names....Wouldn't know the name even when I'm looking at the pic....Love the actor but don't care for period pieces. I didn't even know he's been in several other dramas after The Veil. I gotta learn how to keep up...and learn some names.
