exactly--- this Ming competition has gone on too long -- and there is no development between the leads --- not even some sml moments where u can see the FL is starting to care --- there was a kiss and that just evaporated into nothing in terms of building the tension between the leads
Looks like many people say it's boring, and they're dragging the competition for too long even tho it's only 2…
even if its about the cooking -- too much time is spent looking for ingredients or making the pressure cooker - it really wasnt that interesting -- -and even if it was about food we should be seeing the leads get closer over the cooking or the food -- the most we have gotten is him shielding her a few times and that wasnt even that interesting either --- let's be honest a plot should build with each ep and its been 2 eps and now we have to wait another week- even the 2 eps from last week didnt give us that much which would have been fine if we got some development in this week's eps
the initial episodes though did give us a certain expectation that the writer implied that we wanted to see continue and build -- so it is the creator's fault lol
they need to keep building the tension between the leads -- too much focus in the last 2 eps was on nothing really --- she should have started showing some low key kindness/protection/closeness to the King by now -- we need some intense stares or moments of thinking about each other ---- WE AR HERE FOR THE SEXY ML not the food
too much talking for a general drama-- i know generals lead and motivate but im tired of d speeches -- need more action However d action and fighting scenes were good !!!

i dont need tons of romance but i like when any other genres have a spark between the leads that is seen and felt subtlety and eventually leads to them being very naturally together --- i watch dramas for romance so im always hoping for something in it
im enjoying so far --- but the FL doesnt give general or someone that was forced to grow up as a boy --- she is giving girl now trying to pretend to be a boy --definitely not an accomplished general
