IDK about y'all but "i watched as many romantic movies as i could to find out what love is. instead of finding the answer, i found you in every one of them," is truly one of the most romantic lines i've seen in any love story.
Finally caught up with this series and it's so damn cute, Tane is adorable, Minoru's "gay longing" expression is perfect and Yutaka is the cutest dude in the world. I love them three so much.
I am split about watching this. I am a big fan of the manhwa, I have been reading it since chapter 1 released. The arc of the manhwa adapted in this drama is one that made me cry real tears of sadness, anger and frustration. A lot of the manhwa fans I've seen say it's not an accurate adaptations, so I'm conflicted on whether to watch it, because while I don't really mind change, I have no idea whether I will like the changes (mainly because the way the manhwa executed Si-eun's backstory was amazing and greatly written).
Reading the manhwa gave me a lot of "Restart after come back home" vibes, and I'm absolutely excited for this one. I need more country boy x city boy BL
I watched the first ep, and I found it excruciatingly boring and the characters were not at all likeable, except for 1 or 2 of them. Should I pick it up again? Does it get better?
This entire episode was the epitome of perfection. The starting scene where White and Sean just talked to each other so naturally as if they were breathing was beautiful. It felt so raw. The morning after that where Sean was just poking around with White's face was so cute, and tying him to the bed and leaving him was hilarious. The DanYok scene is one of my favourite moments in the series. I have said it before and I will say it again, nudity has been way too over sexualised, and I think it's a shallow mindset. Nudity as an art form has always been a beautiful concept for me, and I loved Yok's concept for his project. The scene where Dan started crying and You comforting him after sketching was PERFECT. I loved how they had the chance to sexualise that scene but instead chose to make it emotionally beautiful. The chemistry in the rooftop scene was too much, I can't explain it with words.
The scene where Sean and White held hands under the pride flag made me tear up. Honestly, as a queer person I really appreciate this drama's effort to help us be seen. It makes me so stupidly happy.
