One superb actress. After seeing her in "Healer", I would watch her in anything. The gravity of her character in "Healer" was just so attractive that I've been drawn into to watching other things she has done.

I've never, ever loved a villain before, but I do Song Yoon Ah's character in K2! Fantastic performance.

Another Oh Hae Young and Goblin are my all time favs. Signal is awesome too.
Another Oh Hae Young, Goblin and Oh My Ghostess are my favorites.

I didn't think I would like Goblin at first, but once I started watching it I realized how fresh the story was and the relationship between Goblin and his wife was so beautiful.

Oh My Ghostess because of Park Bo Young. That little lady does cuteness to perfection. She was so adorable in her role that I couldn't stop watching because of her.

I wasn't sure I would like Another Oh Hae Young in the beginning, but once I understood the story I was hooked. Seo Hyun Jin became one of my favorite actresses from this series. She and Park Bo Young are amazing actresses, imo.

The 3 common things I've noticed in K-Dramas: Sodju, fist clinch and watching a love interest sleep. There are more... like a male pulling a female out from in front of some idiot driving a car, motorcycle or scooter mindlessly. But it's all fun to watch nonetheless. We listen to the same songs over and over, why not the same actions in K-Dramas? It's all good. :)

Review Playful Kiss Spoiler
Well, I'm quite old and this is one of my favorite romantic comedies.

There is a lot going on in this rom-com that will elude some. The male lead tries to openly reject the female lead because he thinks she's beneath him intellectually. He's so much into using reasoned thought that he doesn't have a clue about his emotions.

On the other had, Oh Ha Ni (female lead) understands her emotions far better and doesn't think intellectual status is so important. As the story goes on, Baek Seung Jo (male lead), after unsuccessfully trying to reject Ha Ni's crush on him by openingly rejecting her, kisses her almost as a prank, but ends up getting hooked, unwittingly. By the way, good guys don't kiss girls on the lips they don't like.

You say that Seung Jo redeems himself, but he is not the only one. These two characters change as a direct result of each other - the interaction they have with one another. Ha Ni becomes determined to show Seung Jo that she can study and be smart, if she wants. Later, in one of the episodes, the one where Seung Jo helps her study, Ha Ni points out to Seung Jo that intelligence is more about what interests one has, and demonstrates it by naming all the guys in a photo that she knows and Seung Jo has no clue about.

It is Ha Ni who, without knowing it, teaches Seung Jo (along with his mother) how to understand his emotions. In the beginning he thinks rational thought is all there is, and everything else is stupid. He ends up learning that there is so much more. Ha Ni already knew that, which is, from my experience, very often the case with females. They tend to have a broader mindset while males are often very focused with a narrow one.

Sueng Jo learns that rational thought is only part of what makes us human. Without Ha Ni's affect on him because of her crush, he might never have learned that. The interaction between these two lead characters shows that we can improve ourselves by understanding both our intellect and our emotions, that they both exist as part being human.

Title Playful Kiss
Why 7.4 ??? It's beautiful and one of my favorite
Playful Kiss is my favorite version, and is very high on my list of romantic comedies. I've already watched this 10 time or more; I like it THAT much. Jung So Min became my favorite Korean actress as a direct result of this romantic comedy. From some comments here, I see a lack of understanding about the characters and how they develop over the course of the story. Reactions are easily. Understanding can take some thought.
On Park Hye Soo Mar 25, 2017
Person Park Hye Soo
First saw Park Hye Soo in "Age of Youth" and loved her character there. But I have really enjoyed her acting, the character she creates, in "Introverted Boss" (aka "My Shy Boss" on DramaFever.com). Hope to see much more of her in the future. Love her look and her acting.
