was today's episode really an hour long? 🤔 i felt like i blinked, and it was already over :'/

i love and support both YSX and ZLS. you are hating on ZLS because a few of her crazy fans are trolling/spreading hate as if other fanbases don't do the same. in addition, you're slandering and spreading rumors about ZLS's father investing in tencent to force WL and YY to work with her without a reliable source. it's crazy how you hate on ZLS and her fans when you are just as similar to ZLS's crazy fans but for YSX. it's plain weird and pitiful.

you are so weird lmfao. you're attacking ZLS as if she didn't work just as hard as YSX to get to where she is now. let's not forget ZLS was already doing well before starring with WL and YY. no need to discredit her in order to praise YSX

i feel like shangguan qian didn't know that yun weishan had information about the tea. it seemed like she only came there to ask about elder yue's assassination as well as give her the tea to help alleviate the pain. she was already starting to leave before yun weishan decided to tell her about the additional ingredient.

that and 17 episodes in and the grandmother's servant is still able to run rampant with her scum of the earth lover without repercussions is definitely agitating

but isn't every family back in ancient china patriarchal? i don't really see the point of showing that she's not treated the "same" when everyone knows that women aren't seen as equal to men during this time period. other than this, i can agree that them showing her putting in work/effort during the night time was better than solely treating her character as comedic relief in terms of depth.

as much as i adore gong zishang, i felt like a lot of episode 7 was wasted on her and jin fan's storyline (granted the episode was also shorter than previous ones). i rather see more character development from gong ziyu and yun weishan or shangguan qian and gong shangjue. especially after seeing episode 8, we need more of the second couple. they're addicting to watch
