also on qian qian's side, pei heng helped her escape (han shuo kept her "locked up" in her room). the two pretended to be musicians and got out. while they were outside, qian qian realized that lin qi wasn't dead, and that the plot that she wrote could still change, so she decided to go back to han shuo (pei heng wasn't happy abt this decision btw). she wants to explain the misunderstandings. when she returns back, han shuo found out that she left, and her "eloping" with pei heng made him even more mad. they go back and forth a bit, and qian qian rips up the divorce letter, throwing it in the air. she implies that they should have sex (LOL), and han shuo thinks she only said it to save pei heng. then she was like, "what does this have to do with pei heng?" han shuo said something along the lines of, "then you're doing it for your mom. to save her." basically, he's in disbelief (that she actually likes him). he makes her become his personal maid (that's why she's pouring tea for him and chu chu, helping him put on his belt, and ironing his clothes). after realizing that she burnt herself, he got really worried. when he turned to leave, qian qian pulled him, and told him to stay with her for the night. he agreed. when she thought he was sleeping, she told him she was sorry for lying. fast forwarding, han shuo and chu chu fight. qian qian and pei heng arrive with their little army. han shuo thinks that she chose her mom and the city over him. someone comes and says that the tribe from the mountains have arrived (sorry can't remember the name). bai ji tells han shuo that they have to leave, but han shuo says that he still has something he needs to get (it's qian qian). qian qian's mom tells the army to arrest han shuo and chu chu. qian qian tells him to surrender (because along with their army and the tribe from the mtn, his army cant win against them). in prison, qian qian tells han shuo that she'll save him, but he no longer believes anything she says. they end up having sex btw. at the execution, qian qian trades her life for han shuo. pei heng sees her in the coffin and wants accompany her, but han shuo stops him. pei heng finds out that she's not dead LOL her mom also knows she's not dead. fast forwarding again, han shuo over hears the conversation qian qian has with the three story tellers. he storms off, and qian qian finally tells him everything (why she framed him, the story she wrote, etc.) he's shocked, but he finally understand now!! he also knows that she loves him. she then goes with him to xuan hu city.

sorry for the late reply, and you're welcome! han shuo slowly realized that all of the cold/heartless things qian qian said to him were lies. there were also a lot of elements that led up to their reconcile. (i wrote a brief summary of episode 19-22 in the next comment). when han shuo surrendered and was put in prison, he no longer believed anything that qian qian said. she tells him that she really does love him, and they had sex. after that, i guess he just realized that she does love him and vice versa. the stuff that happened beforehand also helped him forgive her.

so far, i don't think it's following the novel (unless it's going in that direction in the last 19 episodes?) fei bai and mu jin got married, and he hasn't been on any missions lately. also mu jin was mad at him on their wedding day (while they were in their room) because she over heard sima jiu tell jin xiu that he loved her. mu jin obviously thought that was fei bai, so she was angry that he was playing both her and her sister. after that happened, she's been really cold to him. even leaving him. during her journey (without him), she met duan yue rong. they basically ended up traveling together while mu jin avoids fei bai, and fei bai looking for her. something happens between them when he finally found her (for the billionth time), and they ended up getting separated for 3 years. during those 3 years, she was with yue rong. then she meets fei bai again, and they're really lovey dovey (as of episode 41). sima jiu hasn't really come into play yet.

in qian qian's story, she wrote that han shuo was going to die. after changing lin qi's story and her still "dying," qian qian thought that han shuo's death was unavoidable.. unless he was far away from the plot (of her story). so she decided to ask pei heng and su mu to frame him for killing su mu and banished him away. that way, he's safe. han shuo obviously doesn't know, but he's heartbroken by her betrayal. while he was being sent to the location that qian qian said (supposedly, nobody knows about it except her, and if his people ever try to attack hua yuan city, she's going to order her people to kill him), he met chu chu. he joined hands with her (after she broke out) to take over hua yuan city (han shuo told chu chu he wanted the black mine in the city while chu chu said she wanted to be the ruler. han shuo actually wants whole city, not just the mine). this is a brief summary as to why han shuo was being cold to her.
