I'm thinking 'Why ruining' as well. I'm guessing you are not his fan? Which is OK. Not a problem. For me, Bright…
No offense but I honestly don't care about his personal life. From what I've watched from him in 2gether (to which the poor scripting didn't help), I personally can't consider him a good actor. I've watched a couple of interviews too and didn't like them either, but maybe that's because I'm not as invested in him. Regarding this role, at least from what little I've seen, I don't think he can do justice by Tsukasa (the original name of the character on the Japanese parent story). The character has many layers and imo Bright doesn't have what it takes to portray it. I might be wrong and I hope I am, because at this point this story is considered a classic and it would be a shame to have a poor adaptation.
This was so different and so well excecuted. I found out today the same actors are on another drama as a couple so I'll be checking it out for sure, their chemistry is no joke. Such a shame this was so short though :S I would've loved to keep watching. Shoutout to Jeff for the song "Comedy", I loved it!
This was a masterclass on how to make a BL series. Every single actor was on point, they were able to portray feelings beautifully and commited to their roles. There is character development, an actual plot and they even tackle various issues like the pandemic, family acceptance, the loss of loved ones, friendship and more. Honestly, I can't say anything other than congratulations on a job amazingly done!
Definitely the most unique GMMTV series, the production was amazing and so was the story. The only thing I found lacking was chemistry between the 3 main characters. Even though Miw and Neo claimed to love Shin, he felt as a thirdwheel throughout the whole show. Even Miw-Neo or Shin-Neo by themselves weren't convincing. I love that it's about a poly relationship and I sure hope to see more of those stories, but in this case the actors didn't fit the bill when it comes to portraying feelings.
I regret delaying watching all of the HIStory series so much! I was really amazed by the stories, the acting, everything. I understand why so many are unhappy with MODC in particular, but the message it conveys is that of its title. I loved every single one of them, and can't wait for HIStory 4!
Am I the only one that found this a bit rapey? Jiang Jin Teng made me extremely uncomfortable
It did feel that way a bit but I believe that's exactly what they were trying to portray. Jiang Jin Teng was obsessed with SYC and the actor did a great job there.
I love this series. It might not be for everyone because it's pretty mature, raw and sort of "in-your-face". If you're looking for rainbows, unicorns and fluffy stuff then it won't be for you. Now if you're more of a realist, then you won't regret watching this.
I'm having a blast while watcihng this. I don't know why so many are fuming. I mean, you people read descriptions? It's a SitCom, it's meant to be funny and make no sense. If they're being extra it's because that's how it is, not due to bad acting or scripting. In fact, the actors are doing a great job, they're hilarious.
