There will always ever be one Wuji. He is simply amazing. Dramas come and dramas go but this performance is above and beyond. Have rewatched it and rewatched it. Never going to get of it.
Just finished it and I really loved this drama. I will warn though, if you watch it on Drama cool the subs are terrible, really hard to read in yellow, and some of the fonts distorted. I really enjoyed the story and Day’s performance was great, not to mention he’s easy on the eyes hehe 😅..off to now watch the Taiwanese version!
im on ep 1 by now, are they (FL and ML) actually siblings? bcs in ML's flashback, he begged her to come home......
Yes I got confused too, but you'll find out much later that there is a little bit of a connection. Regardless, the coincidences though are a bit much, but I guess I've watched many dramas with a lot worse lol
the significance of the red sleeve was explained by the king in the first episode to a young deokim and since…
In my mind, her brother gave her the blue sleeves to cover up the red sleeves. If you remember when he was sadly saying to her that he was sorry she was forever going to be a court lady, won't be able to ever leave the palace and never get married. I see it as a way of him symbolicly giving her back her 'freedom' with covering up the red sleeves. Red sleeves means she belongs to the King (Crown Prince in her case). The CP not only got mad because she was accepting a gift from another man, but also because it covered up her red sleeves, meaning she didn't belong to him. That's why he forcefully grabbed her throat, to show her, no matter what, she was his.
