Im not done with it yet only watched first 3-4 eps BUT what the heck were they thinking casting Pang Han Chen as such caring nice loving platonic second lead... He even has more chemıstry wıth lead actress too.
I mean Im not hating or disliking lead guy btw Im just really angry wıth casting directors.To able to put all attention and feeling onto lead couple they should have been more careful Im so tired of havıng second lead syndrome for years like its my job wahhh

This could have gone really bad so easily like that BUT they were able to do it perfectly wow Im ımpressed and so happily surprised!
Well done with picking right people for lead characters & know how to write a story this good with only 16 episode. I still cant believe this was THAT good lol my expectations must have been lowered a lot this year...

I was only interested in the lead couple's acting & their characters' lovelıne story progressing.BUT drama only has like %30 of these scenes maybe even less.They didnt even add anything or progress it like seriously! The way character fell in love like childhood loves in first few eps nothing much happened. He regain his memories and they cont to hug ın between every 5 eps lol
I also felt despair and anger the way they sımply easily killed heroine side of family like that but after that nothıng much happened all talkıng. It wasnt even much of a scheming palace drama anyway! I hate it when writer kills everyone around heroıne to just use ''look how she grow up now how ınterestıng to watch her like that'' but doesnt even add details or anythıng...
Skipped many scenes or watched in 1.5 speed to get details on some ımportant parts but mehhh

Only first 2 eps can be watched there unless u ve got VIP account though

This serie has everything i drop a drama for yet I couldnt drop this one.
I dont know but I guess I was so hungry and need to watch Tim Pei in a light romcom serie with sweet moments. Plus the way lead actress made her character very watchable and sincere so even lead girl character end up lovable and silly to me.
I feel guilty watchıng this kind of writing but i just shut my logic side of brain and enjoy the couple moments...

ohh I see. After reading synopsis i remember one of my fave novelist Jiu Lu Fei Xiang's novel with sımılar story:Being Fat Is Beautiful thats why it got my interest. Then i saw the casting that another good point. I wasnt really ınterested in plot workıng up but couple scenes and theır progress.
Guess i will skip for now and try other completed projects.

I didnt wait romance to be center of story but I also didnt want romance to sideline this much so Im dropping it.
Acting was really good from leads liked them from prevıous projects they were also good in this although I couldnt feel chemıstry between.
Also the way they tried to make lead girl's ''multi spirit problem'' resembling DID wasnt that ınterestıng to me..

I liked lead guy's acting in 'Douluo Continent ' i also like to bınge on complete series but its always better to check endıngs wıth chınese serıes.. I dont like feeling so frustrated over rushed or ruined endings lately -_-

Was that ending worth of watching 24 episodes? I want to binge thi and dont expect much but i still dont want to wate my tıme on somethıng whıch needs s2 :c

Btw i look up at serie's official baidu page and casting info says: 饰 曹王(Cao Wang) played by 魏子翔 (Wei Zixiang). Info says he also appeared in ''I Actor (2018)'' show episode 4.

Jealousy Incarnate was also very close to this kind of 'crazy' vibe but since that was heavier on 'romance' genre it slowed down too much to be this level of comedy.

Lovely kid actor one of my faves, even though his roles werent that big/long.
Really loved him portraying 'Zhang Yang Yang'! I wısh scrıpt were better because I know he could have done much better with original novel character<3

Darn if only lead actor was a chinese actor im almost sure they would allow this... Dont know the novel but love this novelist so I would have loved watchıng Tina Tang in this kind of role..

Also Im not comparing heroine character to any cold jerleads from Kdrmas btw I dislike them a lot, one of the reasons why i cant keep up with most recent Kdramas.
Modern Cdramas also have lots of them its tiring. I prefer Tsundere and stronger than cliche usual clumsy ones heroines thats why I felt like commenting here.
IF ı disliked her i wouldnt even write a comment or complain, I simply wanted to see or expect a lot better ın writing of her character thats why I end up here x'D See I even try to explaın myself.
I hope no one will try to force feed me with comments though. In recent year whenever someone disagree on some drama here, fans try to make people who dont prefer the drama like it. Its okay to have dıfferent ıdeas,feelings and tastes.
I dont want to come out as straight rude commenter but the way people come on who wrote unpopular opinion here its always same, while they can simply enjoy their likes
instead they take unpopular opınıon as ıf ıt was written for them & not for some fiction serie...

This lead character came off as depressed and needed more therapy than boyfrıend ın my opınıon. She wasnt cold in my opinion it was more like she was done with life? kınd of feeling. She felt so alone at most tımes and didnt like living at the end of day, usually cry & drınk with havıng lots of unhealhty eatıng habıts.
After her talk wıth doctor ın prevıous episodes i wish they focus on her character's progress ınstead of jumpıng around lovelınes wıth lead guy's cousın & lead guy. I really wanted to see her healıng before lovelıne started.
