the suppose to be 'comedy' scenes made me give up on this drama after 10 something episodes. It felt so stupid and tiring coming from such charming characters ughh
He was really believable & make one feel his turmoil with his complex character in Tale of Nokdu. Im surprised and that was my first time watching him acting but now I will surely check his works. Now that I see 5urprise name there I wonder if all members are a lot better at acting than most idols cause Kang Seo Joon is also very good at it!
Right when I thought i didnt had any hope for Kdramas I binge watched this in 2 days. I still cant believe it was as good as to make me count this as top 3 of all the Kdramas ive watched before. Maybe even better cause i cant even think other 2 right now lol. Perfect detailed story with many complex characters. Not a disappointing ending like most of the time, characters' growth or some characters you know they wont get any better but you can get some of their points too. It didnt had many soundtracks but 2 main with lyrics and some 2-3 emotional pieces played ın background, they helped create the mood and emotions for those scenes they used for. All casting were perfect with their own characters even children casting was very good with dramatic depressing scenes for their ages.
I dont know the guy everyone is talkıng about but I can swear I saw ''Li Zi Feng'' in trailer he was shooting arrows XD lol it was like 10 seconds and now I have to check this for him( I cant see his name on casting though) Plus I love costume chinese series which shows lots of culture details!

The funny and light hearted kind you know? aiyya sorry Im not really good with words when i try to express myself xD Lead couple is childhood friends our girl is such a big tomboy and bully to our guy. later on they got separated when they go different high schools. They will meet agaın ın university and she will have a sweet crush on younger guy which also skates. He was a pretty boy kind quite shy and introvert. But this never really get that serious ın novel, it was more like she liked having him around and lıkıng hım while lead couple still bicker around.
They mostly ate together 3 of them at lunch time and other students (esp lead guy's fans online) was talkıng how they look like a family of 3! XD There was a moment lead guy reading comments about them online and saw that family comment he came to see this younger crush guy cute too. But then he read later comments about: how our girl was the dad while lead guy accepted as mom andyounger crush guy as children XD hahahh it was so funny how lead guy got so bitter... sorry I lost myself in fangirling... Later on younger guy's mother got ınvolved with girl and he went away picking focusing on 'skating' instead of crushing on our gırl :')
I remember having bitter feelings cause sure our gırl crushed on hım but it was always sure how she and lead guy will end up together anyway but she stıll bring this cute guy around them T_T;
Does the 'long' in her character name is the one which means 'dragon'?! They even says she shares god blood in her.. If yes I would love to see some good ımagınatıon and edits with dragon characteristics when (if ever) she changes spiritual form!
Binge watched first 12eps yesterday and watched other 12 as raws. Characters and the casting choice who played them made me feel so many feelings at same time. I wasnt able to get into any story /character this much for a long time! I randomly found and start it for fun but this serie end up being one of my faves in the end :'>
Its comedy but not the ''cringe/out of nowhere'' kind where you dont find it funny. Its more clumsy and sincere kınd of comedy and shows warm feelings between all characters with development, not only lead couple. First half has more comedy while they show us characters and it gets more emotional and some mystery villain guy comes a long. They dont waste much tıme on that guy's story so ım pretty happy with this too lol.. All 2 brothers and their love lines, also maids & mother ın law's scenes were all nice to watch. Nothing so dramatic or evil people planning stuff behind.
Now that I talked about casting, characters & story let me talk about how gorgeous the costumes and hair styles areee<3 I really didnt wait that much of quality from this serie and thought it was like a webdrama but it end up more than that for me at least. Dont worry about the synopsis it makes it sound way too crazy and weird but it wasnt portrayed lıke that ın serıe. It did get mention for like 1-2 eps for comedy purpose but that was it. It was already sure who was lead couple anyway.
