About Hu Yixuan, I remember her from I’m a Pet at Dali Temple 2018. I loved the pairing there enough to complete mess of a script. I always wished she could her own lead roles because she sincerely deserves it.
Even when there are awkwardish cutesy scenes for clumsy characters her acting and looks doesnt feel greasy at all. Very sincere and its so cute that which makes me want to save her from troubles or befriend her characters.She doesnt over-act but its also emotional enough to make me feel for her.

what on earth was this script... I remember reading a very similar novel before but in there female lead was book spirit instead and details were written better.It was so similar I thought it was from same novel but its wasnt after all...
This felt like they created drama from random parts of a script from writer's brain.She/he knows the story but only some parts ended up being available for viewers thats how I felt. Editing was also bad.
I was only there to see more of 2 leads with pretty costumes.
enough to make me go rewatch sadly...

ps: this is my first time watching AI edited lead role and it was actually amazing.
IF I didnt know it was edited & IF female actress wasnt my fave which I knew details of her body shape, I wouldnt be able to tell at all it was that smooth.

She has a way of acting which feels colder and same tone with many characters she portrays.
I would love to recommend her role in Sound of Desert. One of the best script & character she played in my opinion.Plus the love story and male lead was almost perfection.

Yeah you are not alone. Actress is a beauty but thats it. Very stiff in acting UNLESS her character is someone like her old character in 'Sound of Desert'! She was fiery but even when her character was all wild & fiery her acting was still quite bland and on colder side. Im not saying its bad 'bad' but she has a style and her acting in emotional parts always ends in same note somehow...

I actually forgot that Bae In Hyuk was the lead for this and started randomly. I end up seeing him in his first scene I was like 'its my biasssss in another costumeee' lol adding so many dramas to my watching list makes me dizzy...
Even secondary guy is played by another fave actor.Lead actress is very believable as a 'male' I appreciate it.
I dont particularly like the story tho *le sigh....di lem ma .... I guess I will just binge these trio's scene and skip other useless scenes cham...

Im really excited for another Liu Xue Yi costume drama and happily checking filming updates! But I have to say something about Meng Ziyi's make up on lips. In bts vids it looks mostly too much both red and the way they applied... with such beautiful costumes and filming places some of choices makes me disappointed.She already has full pretty lips why stylist would do that to her T_T;

lol I thought filming would be in secret but there is already some videos of them filming scenes as leads.... I hope fans will respect filming crews rules and dont post any single photo or even videos from filming sites. Let alone costumes even scenes are spoiled that way with most Cdramas :/
