agree w everything you say!! people sometimes forget while watching these shows is that the characters are students and never had to worry about actually surviving but about what they are gonna wear or what grades they're gonna get. i really do hope it isn't a dream, it would just feel empty then. i also hope the fl and ml actually stay alive, the other students literally wouldn't function otherwise because they are actually the ones trying to vote out the mafia and using their logic.
To everyone confused about where the gang scene came from etc etc.
In the present interview, it was said, that one of the members caused trouble and it ended with a band member getting seriously injured in that accident. we assumed it was hyunyul, him being part of a gang in the past and all. that's also how yichan lost his hearing.
the original plot was supposed to be the lights falling on the band and yichan losing his hearing, but because yichan didn't come to the rehearsal and majoo came running to the gym telling them WHY, the band came off the stage and the lights fell on the stage after they had came off, that accident didn't take place.
because that didn't harm them in any way, the gang leader found out and then went to the gym again where the whole gang scene happened. He wanted to get revenge on mostly hyunyul because he got betrayed by him and all, but because the other members were also there the gang wanted to take them all down basically. but because eungyeol came running in the last minute, he was able to stop the accident where yichan was supposed to lose his hearing.
