I truly hope Luomei is lying to the crown prince, cause man that would truly make her one of the worst characters…
I think Luo Mei is lying to the crown prince. She will protect Murong Jing, I think that's what she will do. She won't harm MRJ with Mei Lin, but will secretly help him (the look in her embrace with the crown prince) showed me that.

This drama is too much. Let me tell you, when MJH came in on that horse. I was screaming, rewound that back. Didn't…
In the book there is a cure for both of them (it's in the jade flower), a red flower that appears on Murong Jing's hat in some photos, and on Mei Lin's hat in another photo. (but in the drama he called it a dragon flower?).

Okay, I'm glad I could help you. I hope you can watch the drama later. I think my predictions will prove to be correct, but only the end of the drama will prove it for sure.

I like your frank analysis of the book and expressing your displeasure about it. It makes me understand it a lot more. But (in my case), when I read the book I got what the female author wanted to express with the book (but she got many events in the book wrong). But...what I told you about the real meaning of the book is what I think the writers are doing in the drama (but putting in the most appropriate and not disgusting events), to develop this. (That in itself is already a great comparison).

(in the drama):
I see a happy ending in the positive development of the two main characters' personal development. Messages hidden in the plot, which if we pay attention, are telling us something positive in the end. They always say, "It can't kill me." There is a reference to the immortal flower in the story, a flower that never dies, which is Mei Lin's favorite flower, and which despite showing Jing He's admiration for her, also represents himself (the personality that does not accept defeat), in most difficult moments in life. They are two similar characters. Like sides of the same coin. PS: In addition to a hidden message on the board that Jing He's mother left for him before she died (giving a warning, explaining her love for him, that she trusted him, that everything they accused him of, she knew he was innocent) . She died but managed to leave this message for him. And it was Mei Lin who made this possible. (In addition to the 5 trailers), and the ost. Some can see a sad ending, but I see many messages in text drama showing otherwise.
PS:
Another element, lines from the trailer: "I pay back what I owe you. Everything I made you suffer, I will spend my whole life making it up to you. Mei Lin, I'm here with you."
And the main symbol is the immortal flower (which serves as an analogy for the two main characters).

Yes, that's what I'm telling you: watch it, either at the same time as the broadcast or more slowly, but I think the drama will only be truly understood when you get to the end.

Yes, Eternal love (Aka: Ten miles of peach Blossoms) was my first Asian drama, and it had everything balanced, including what we just mentioned, it was well balanced there, like a cake recipe that needs to be followed.

I have to show this drama some love. Most enjoyable historical for me since Lost You Forever. I needed the village…
That's what I didn't want either: I didn't want most of the drama to be just pain, distrust and anguish, or for this sweetness to come only in the last second of the drama. I know that the anguish will come, and that's why I loved the moments of sweetness and true carefree romance between them.

Title Kill Me Love Me Spoiler
I have read the novel.(I would say skimmed through it) .Although I have not started watching the drama properly…
I don't like the deplorable attitudes of the male protagonist in the book, nor do I like some of the female protagonist's. But I like the general meaning of the story, I think I understand the true meaning that the female writer wanted to convey with her novel. In the book, Mei Lin really likes flowers, there are many passages throughout the book where she mentions flowers. In the book, the male protagonist was written to, despite all his deplorable attitudes, learn from his own humiliation and total dependence on her (his own life in her hands), to learn to respect her, to stop calling her a slave, to admire her, to see the beauty in her that he has not seen in any woman. And when he thinks that she is dead, all that hardness of his completely falls away, and he chooses her above all else. And the significant moment with the flowers at the end, he appreciates them together with her (this has a very strong meaning). It's as if he really had his past, or had done it, gone away, and now he would be that man that Mei Lin deserved and that he wanted to be, to live together with her, with no concubines, having her as his legitimate empress.

Title Kill Me Love Me Spoiler
I'm seeing a lot of comments with mixed reviews and am hoping to get some insight to set my expectations: What…
The drama is a mix of dark elements and (deeply romantic and sweet) elements. There is a bit of intrigue, there is the general and his battles, and the heroine who is a mix of a super powerful warrior, but also someone full of mercy, sweet and romantic.
When the tone was darker in the first episodes, everyone was enjoying it, when the episodes that placed the couple in love in a romantic idyll arrived, some didn't like it, because they thought that the way it was presented in the drama didn't convince them (but I think these criticisms will diminish), when the conflict starts again. But I particularly liked the moment of idyll) and each of their words seemed convincing, because the two are not villains, nor murderers, they are kind souls in the middle of a war (with a desire to punish those responsible for their tragedies), but they haven't lost their essence. I think that these arcs in the drama will all fit together perfectly like chess pieces, making everything make sense in the end.

In the face of netizens praising the "super CP physique", Wu Jinyan responded modestly: "The first is the character plot, the second is the expression and cooperation of the actors, and the efforts of other people!" "It's so gentle and cute~[η¬‘ε“ˆε“ˆ]Liu Xueyi said: "CP sense is sometimes metaphysics! "I can see that the net feels good πŸ„

I understand the issues you're pointing out. But I can see the overall plot of the story shown in the book (at least what the female author tried to write), and (I love watching Liu Xue Yi and Wu Jin Yan) play out these romantic scenes. So...I have nothing to complain about (just...maybe the ending of the drama), but I hope not even the ending, if it's really the overall plot of the original book that interests the 4 drama writers.

I say this because of the comments I read during filming on the drama's Weibo page (they always mentioned it) that this character was trash, to use other terms, who would dare to accept playing him? And they always repeated that the book was crap, because the main male character, after everything he did, had a happy ending with the main female character.
PS:
So...especially for Morung Jing He from the book, there was a huge rejection against the happy ending presented by the book.
PS:
I think the 4 scriptwriters wanted this happy ending. And everything they did was to keep it that way. That's why the synopsis of the drama had 2 versions. One version that decimates as a final statement that they could not love each other. And the current one that does not talk about love in the last paragraph, but only about the issue of the "master of shadows", the crucial revelation to be discovered by the heroine in the drama.
