The ending was fitting. Another ending i believe would have betrayed the story. Some bumps on the road but still…
I complained a lot about that ending, because there was all the drama, the metaphor of the immortal flower, and the two leads always repeated in moments of danger: "this can't kill me," and considering that the ending in the book is of the two alive fulfilling each other's dreams (I was a little upset at the time.
