Like a happy child. I think he had fun playing this heroic character.
I think he got his chance to be a ML because of the last supporting roles the director Yin Tao gave him since "The Legend of White Snake," and then the director gave him: "Love and Redemption," "Ancient Love Poetry," "The Blood of Youth," and "Destined." I think these roles paved the way, the last two being the most successful: Luo Zi Shan and Wuxin. If the director hadn't valued this actor for so many years, the male leads we see wouldn't have come along. Even the less famous male leads like in "Love at Night," "Qing Lou," and "Unshakable Faith." (And yet, they were very popular in other Asian countries.) PS: Now I see three platforms taking turns fighting for him: IQIYI, YOUKU, Tencent. Mango was the first to see his potential as a male lead with "Love at Night" and "Love Never Fails."
Hi, can you tell me how this drama is? I was waiting to binge watch it but ratings kept plummeting , so I wonder…
Read these comments below and you will understand it:
Finding Neverland 4 hours ago @eliteles1 It was really good overall. Only the pace slows down a bit between episodes 20 and 27, but then it picks up again with renewed excitement. That slowdown was necessary, and it was clear the story was heading in a different direction. It wasnβt a surprise, because it became obvious toward the end that weβd revisit the girl's original struggle β meaning the psychopathic empress would become more involved in the story. So I wasnβt surprised.
Of course, Iβm also tired of seeing the same kind of crazy villain women over and over again, but ever since Double, thatβs become a trend. I really donβt like it, but unfortunately, since it's so popular, that wave is going to continue.
Still, I really loved this series. Despite the psycho empress, the overall flow, the romance, and the excitement of the other events were all very well done. All the supporting characters were great. The fact that none of the main secondary characters died and it ended happily was also extremely satisfying β something we rarely see.
In my opinion, this has been Liu Xue Yiβs best-quality series since In Blossom, and also the female leadβs best work since Blossom as well. 1 Reply Share β’ eliteles1 VIP 2 hours ago @Finding Neverland β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨β¨π I also see many positives in this drama. The story's main thread was picked up again. And all the loose ends were tied up (in what really mattered to the story). They succeeded in every action to restore justice in this drama. All the heroes achieved their goals. And it was well done (we felt the taste of what was accomplished). The love between them (at the end), we see that it had the most logical and coherent outcome (the happy ending). Both are cold people, but between the lines and subtleties, they demonstrated their love. (The first half was as hot as pepper, like the pepper the main couple used as the drama's symbol at the Tencent event). And then it became a love conflict without those outbursts (even violent ones on their part). It became a conventional love story (slow-paced), but there was a happy ending for everyone. I like happy endings, and even though the execution could have been better, this ending was still a relief. 2 Reply Share β’ Finding Neverland an hour ago @eliteles1 I absolutely, 100% agree with every detail. A love that started off fiery like chili peppers gradually turned into a deeper and more mature affection. They were beautiful in every way, and they made us feel love in all its forms. At times, it was a wild, loud, and passionate love full of fights; at others, it was expressed through dramatic sacrifices made without a second thought, and through the tears they shed in pain for their loved ones. π₯°π₯°π₯°
There was nothing left unresolved or half-finished. Everything was beautifully tied together. Our heroes step by step resolved all the problems both internally and externally. Only the death of the handsome master was saddening, but other than that, all the main characters surviving is almost a miracle for a Chinese drama β and I love that miracle. Both the supporting and main characters found peace. Because I donβt like endings where the main supporting characters die but the leads survive. If itβs going to be a happy ending, then it should be happy for everyone. If someone has to die, then let them all die together. Of course, I prefer happy endings where everyone survives. And thanks to that, I found peace too. It was perfect. π₯°π₯°π₯° Let the minor flaws just stay in the background. π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯° 1 Reply Share o eliteles1 VIP a few seconds ago You described it beautifully. Thank you for the incredibly sensitive summary. Without a doubt, this happy ending is almost a miracle for everyone involved. And how good it is for us. They're afraid of happy endings. Perhaps they think a happy ending isn't convincing. (The story is asking for a happy ending, and they distort it.) But here, no, the heroes had the courage to overcome all their dilemmas, and the main couple found themselves together near the peach tree where Jiang Tao Hua told Shen Zai Ye that she missed the blossoms of that tree.ππππβ¨πΆβπ«οΈπ ____________________________________________________________________________________________
I agree, regardless of any script flaws, it's a great drama, with plenty of beauty to appreciate in its narrative.PS:"In…
I'm still going to finish "Blossom." I watched half of it. I watched "In Blossom," and I think the screenwriter, who took 10 years to write his script, the work was worth it.
Starting with episode 19, there will be a change in the drama (perhaps a different writer). But don't give up,…

Honestly it is not the worse. The Glory and Feud werev far worse in my opinion.
Okay, in some cases, this difference in the story is appropriate. And in this case, you couldn't find that fit. I understand, but I'll only know when I watch it. PS: In "Against the Current," Liu Xue Yi and Tang Song Yun (in real life, they're exactly the same age). In "Cong Shan," (the master being a little older than the female disciple, it works very well). It's perfect for Liu Xue Yi's profile.

PS:"In Blossom" (is a great drama with Liu Xue Yi and Ju Jing Yi). "Blossom" is a drama with Meng Zi Yi and Li Yun Rui.
