This director is great. He is the same director of the drama "Love and Redemption". The actor who plays Tian Qi was the second male protagonist in Love and Redemption" as well. I'm watching "Ancient Love poetry" just because of him (Liu Xue Yi), who was Hao Chen in "Love and Redemption." (Yes, Xu Kai is very handsome, but... he doesn't give me depth of feeling. I don't know why, but he doesn't pass me. Liu Xue Yi can do it.). But...the majority of the audience doesn't seem to mind that.

He's so mysterious and interesting. It's the character that keeps me watching the drama. But...he suits Yuemi so much. The two are so natural, as friends, as mates (to me) it's like he hasn't figured out yet that he loves Yuemi. (At least that's what I like to think).
