I watched season 1 and I liked it too. But season 2 is much better. I feel that this current season we have managed the love between them to mature and actually exist. It is not a platonic love. The audience realizes this love is happening and we can enjoy these beautiful moments little by little. Along with all the curse and difficulties they have to face. I love this drama.
