Why oh why..does it have to be 42 episodes?

I will confess I liked this much more than I thought I would. Elenor really can be funny. Although, the side stories were much more serious. Especially Henger and concubine. Hopefully, I'm not giving much away. But seriously, the music was great (thanks to Elenor) and the cast was good..and it's only 27 episodes.

Well, the novel is better. I guess this was Kennedy's first Lost Tomb...as in screenwriting. I think he's gotten better. Although, I dunno if they have really ever perfected WuXie's persona. I'm pretty sure it wasn't actually Kennedy who created the "bromance" factor in the drama. Still, I feel the key of the series is the Uncle and of course, Fatty which a lot of us overlook.

Have you checked out her A ZI in Demi-Gods & Semi-Devils? Oh so wicked. And she seems so much younger in this drama than she did in Brocade.

Well, it's got Tony Yang..and he never looked better if you are into the brave indigenous look. Although, I have doubts about his character's sharpness. It's a playful mix if you give it long enough. If you want an endearing bromance..well, it's no WORD OF HONOUR... true, you have lots of sworn brothers, even so Bai Shu is a little too naive. And let's not forget the Semi-Devils which look rather foolish from time to time. Although, He Hong Shan's A Zi tops them all with so much sassy wickedness..yet this gets a little tainted after a while. Let's say, this story does take you on a journey. And many lessons must be learned.

This one was a miss for me. Of course, it's the one who got me curious. I did watch it a second time after watching Lost Tomb 2..but it has lots of holes. I guess the one accurate thing is how they got to the cave and that was only a bit part. A lot of it left me wondering... IMO this Wu xie was too old for the part. And definitely came off as a poor little rich boy which I don't think the original character is.

I watched the first 2 episodes on Viki and now it says..Coming soon. What's up? Does anyone know?

I actually like the second couple best. I was so happy to see the ML and I loved the beginning of the first episode with him, but not so much with the FL.

At least, I got some answers this time. It was actually better than what I thought. Maybe I can put the pieces of the puzzle together..but then Kennedy always has a way of letting there be more that you want.

I love Rosy's C-dramas as of late!

So good to see him in a main role!

I so want to see more of her as the FL. She reminds me of Korean actress Park Shin-Hye. All the best to see her making the best of her dramas!
