Oh so uncanny! Wu San Xing and Old Ma from the Lost Tomb series. Hmmm..there is a mystery there..perhaps. Oh, what ever he is in, he makes it complex and interesting. Usually, his characters might not be up to no good , or are they?
I don't think I would have enjoyed this series if I hadn't read the book. Lost Tomb just did not capture Wuxie nor Fatty nor Stuffy like this one. And I have a new fondness for Cheng Yi. I didn't think I would because he was no Yang Yang but as the show progressed I really loved how much his character evolved and the mystery unraveled about his past, and yet lead to more mystery by the end. So much I really enjoyed about this series..but I was a little bitter near the end. Hope that doesn't spoil anything for anyone. I have come to understand that each Chinese drama is a journey and they are not perfect.
Really liked Kido's walk. Something about his whole stance created that character and of course, I read a lot into it..just the way he would look at Bing, some of the time.
episode 11 has to be my favorite! It felt as if it was the start of something new. Also I loved the opening credits best and well Sunday's character finally met someone.
