I get what you're saying. But even in Story of Kunning Palace his acting was bland for me. Like his eyes doesn't hold emotions if I'm making sense. But yeah I really want to love this drama and give it a try so I'm currently watching other dramas for now to get my mind off TSKP and perhaps give me a fresher view of his character and acting.
OMG I love everything about this drama! When I first tried watching it I didn't have high hopes because I'm not a fan of the FL but still I'm curious about the story. The drama didn't fail me. I love the rivalry between the brothers and how they want to protect their family. The actors played well their roles and my gosh! I am such a fan of the camera works on this drama and fight scenes. It was well directed so cheers to the director of this drama. I'll probably check the director's other drama as well.

same same! Consort Rou's acting annoys me so much. She has the same expression for everything 😂 and yes to the SML, I don't mind his presence and just doing good for his role.
okaay so a lot of viewers here can't stand the SML, which in my case the SML doesn't really bother me. BUT!! the Consort's acting which mostly consist of eye wide open 😳annoys me so much that sometimes I can't read her expression well. Ughhh it makes me want to skip her scenes.
