As someone who read the novel; I loved the addition of the neighbour Oka Rina to the film, but wish they had kept the Mum as an important character (she makes no appearance in film). I didn't really enjoy the breaking out into song although i understand what the scene was trying to convey. Honestly i think my expectations were too high going into it which led me to be a bit disappointed, but it was a reasonable adaptation and characterisation of Yoshika was done well.

KathNiel and LizQuen in the same film felt epic haha

I didn't understand some things that were specific to Thai culture, but after watching I searched them on the internet and it was really interesting. A short film but I learnt a lot!

it's not my all time favourite filipino film, but I thought it was quite good. I liked that it focuses on the FL and ML's relationship on a whole; not just physical but also emotional (both intimate and not-intimate/friendship)

You'll start to see a little more of why she is naïve, and I found that as soon as that happened, I no longer found her to be annoying. The difference with Nao(Toda Erika) in Liar Game and Yunshu (Xu Ruohan), is that Nao kinda continues to be a bit of a fool (over several seasons and a film lol) and is too reliant on the "intelligence" of the ML. There is a definite growth in character for Yunshu as she gains skills, experience and confidence. That being said, Liar Game is great so it's a hard one to follow

pleasantly surprised by this drama; of course Wei Zheming is great, but i also really enjoyed Dai Yunfan; he made that side story really good. Was also impressed that NONE OF THE SUPPORTING CHARACTERS WERE HATEFUL so refreshing to watch a drama and not be constantly annoyed by a character. Also, i really appreciated that Yunshu had a lot of repeat outfits- nothing worse than having a poor FL with one suitcase but wears a different outfit every scene

I enjoyed it but it first felt a little too long, and then last episode felt like there wasn't enough time? Haha

I thought this drama was going to be a bit draggy/cheesy but was pleasantly surprised. It's so nice to see leads not getting caught up in ridiculous hysterics and misunderstandings; I get people think maybe the characterisations are "too perfect" but can we give a round of an applause to their calm and logical nature? Ok FL is a little expressionless but she's never had a relationship and continues to fangirl all the way through, I feel like that's fair. Was hoping for more development on the low key BL side story tho haha

did anybody else watch this and worry about Bok Joo's fam's chicken business? like there are hardly ever any customers in there how are they making money; do they have secret side hustles?? I mean i get her dad used to be a weightlifter but honestly can that keep you going? here i am at 2am wondering these things...

Put aside the fact that it's a bad adaptation, the acting is also pretty shocking; I'm not sure if it could've lasted as a short series. But i agree the manga itself was a struggle to get through without popping a vein from being so annoyed hahaha I feel like Aihara Miki writes a lot of super problematic plot lines; yet here i am reading and watching them all

I think though, the craziness of the manga gives reason to why all the romantic relationships are all over the place and start with toxicity. It also made everyone "the bad guy" so to speak, whereas in the drama it kinda feels like Junko just is just keeping Takane on ice for some time even though he is really genuine and honest with everything.
