the grandma and xiao tuo luo are driving me insane. I like the drama (up to ep14 now) but I find myself fastforwarding any scene that isn't related to Xiao Qian and He Jie's love story...

I gave this film a mediocre rating because I cried too much... I agree, was a bit too condensed to be a film, but Jan Geun Suk's acting, especially later in the movie was pretty good.

I loved it! Don't know why I put it off for so long, I have been meaning to watch "BECK" since it was in the cinemas!
The only thing I was a little disappointed about was I wish they got Kutsuna Shiori to do an American accent. To me, her Australian accent was really obvious haha and it was a bit weird(?) hearing her talking with Mizushima Hiro considering he pulled off the American accent pretty well.
I see a lot of people complaining about Koyuki's voice, but I think the director did well to silence it. Otherwise people would be commenting "Oh, thats no what I expected Koyuki's voice to sound like, I'm disappointed"

Well, I am doing a ABC Challenge with movies! I am going to try and watch things on my PTW list, so I thought I will do this challenge. I just finished watching a Korean movie, "Almost Love", it was really good!!

I also started Gu Family Book but I don't know when I will continue it. I heard its quite good and the little bit I watched was interesting.

i admit the fashion was hilarious and horrendous, but luckily they didn't make anyone wear see-through plastic pants (TOKIO anyone?).

I enjoyed the movie but Shizuka's japanese was a bit awful hahaha

I know a lot of people are saying that the relationships could have been explored more but I feel like as this film came out while the manga was only up to about volume 10, the filmmakers maybe didn't want to go too deep into the relationships when there would be 27 more volumes that would do so.
That being said, I think i would've been nice with more relationship development.

I agree. I thought that she passed away. He says "One day bring you back to life" so I assumed that the Michi lying in the bed was what he wanted to see.

I just finished "Majo no Jouken" and I think I know what you mean by it losing you in the second half.

Oh I see, I keep seeing articles about it and many people seem excited about Lee Minho/Park Shinhye pairing.
Recently I'm watching an old jdrama from 1999 called "Majo no Jouken" with Tackey from Tackey&Tsubasa; (JE) and also Matsushima Nanako (from "Kaseifu no Mita"!). Its old but my mum said it was really popular when it first aired. I think I kind of remember watching it but I don't remember most of it so I'm trying it out ^^

Thats good! I'm doing well~ I finished my major assessments; I only have two exams and a research paper left but they are all in November! Yay!

ohh i see! well, i used to really like mystery and crime...how can i describe it? dramas that make you think. Like LIAR GAME! So I usually only watched jdramas. But nowadays I watch a lot of romantic comedies. I still like mystery and crime but romcoms are just so easy and comfortable haha. What dramas/movies did you find interesting lately? And if you like slice-of-life, I highly recommend the jdrama "Kekkon Dekinai Otoko"! It was really a great drama :)
