Cool article, I've only seen Audition, Ichi the Killer, 13 Assassins, Gozu, Crows Zero, Izo, Lesson of the Evil, Crows Zero 2, As the Gods Will, Three... Extremes, and Blade of the Immortal, he makes very gory films and some of them have weird or fucked up endings, I think his best three are Blade of the Immortal, 13 Assassins, and Audition.I hear his new film First Love is pretty good since it's 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.

What's with young people dying so young in Korea, thats horrible, in the countries by suicide rate, SK is in the 10th rank, that's really not good, lots of suicides in South Korea, really sad

I love this movie a lot, great of everything but my favorite Korean film is Train to Busan and Parasite was so close to beat it but Parasite beats all of my favorite Korean films like The Wailing, Memories of Murder, Windstruck, Okja, lots, what do you think guys, Do you think Parasite beats all of those classics?

Here are some of my favorite thriller movies. Some of these movies are mixtures of several genres, so I'm sure…
I love The Handmaiden, that's how a erotic thriller is directed right, have all of those films, some seen, some not, High and Low is the best Japanese film of all time and Akira's best too, nothing beats it brilliant direction and story, Lady Snowblood is amazing too, the best thing about that film is the blood, Confessions is dark as hell and... fucked up? yea. A Snake of June was okay, nothing special but interesting, the directer Shinya Tsukamoto new film Killing is his best so far, film is fucking crazy, dark, and disturbing. The Host was alright, one my first Korean films, A Tale of Two Sisters is good, that ending though... :O , Snowpiercer was great, don't really like the ending though, Infernal Affairs is a good film with great actors and story but I like the Departed more with Leonardo DiCaprio, sometimes, when i see the remake before the original, I end up like the remake more, I have not seen The Housemaid (1960), Lust, Caution (2007), or The Bad Sleep Well (1960), I hear The Bad Sleep Well is really good because of course its directed by Akira Kurosawa, but is it good?

Hmmmm... Hong Kong/China are best at making Martial Arts/Comedy films, South Korea are best at making Thriller/Psychological films, and Japan is best at making life/horror films. Imo, all countries around the world are best at making romance films but India does it really well, Hong Kong best romance film is Comrades: Almost a Love Stroy, South Korea best romance film is Windstruck, Japan best romance film imo is Heavenly Forest, not so many great romance films most of them life, horror, or samurai, but India's best romance film is Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Manhunt was fucking bad, horrible film, don't care if it has some good actors in it, I will continue it someday though because it's a John Woo film

Ringu ( 1998 ) and The Ring 1 and 2 american versions are pretty good, i've heard some good things about Ring 0, alot of the other movies have like crazy bad ratings so 90% percent they might be worth seeing but could be trash, its rare for a good Asian horror film to come out these days, the Indonesian horror films Satan's Slaves and May the Devil Take You are really good

Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum is actually a good horror film, better then some of those trash horror films these days like Annabelle Comes Home, Pet Sematary, Us, In the Tall Grass, The Nun, and The Strangers: Prey at Night, etc.

When I saw the picture of The Fearless, I though it was Lee Seung Gi and Oh Yeon Seo from A Korean Odyssey because it look like them XD, the only scariest Korean film I got jump scared was Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum, and it's really rare for me to get jump scared

I think Shin Sung Rok's character is an ally of Lee Seung Gi's character, Shin Sung Rok does look like he can…
But his role was perfect in Liar Game though
