(MAJOR SPOILERS) im pretty sure Se Eun's ghost wasnt programmed into the game, but was actually her real ghost. Se Euns parents never mentioned they programmed the ghost or even that they knew about it . Also, i felt like the ghost was helping Yoon Seo (FL) , like with the key and the hints about se eun even when they didnt have any memory of her. Also i believe Jung Won the secret AI was possessed by se euns ghost in this version of the game, because se euns parents talk about how jung won was always supposed to be the last one standing in every version, but in the one we see jung won ends up helping yoon seo, when she wasnt supposed to. And the dad even says to the mom that maybe Se Eun didnt want them to do what they were doing, and so she influenced Jung Won somehow. What confirms this even more is the fact that when Yoon Seo finds the "bday gift" from Jung Won that had the USB revealing Jung Won wasnt real but ai, it helped Yoon Seo's altered memories comeback. What she originally thought were memories with Jung Won, were actually memories of her and Se Euns. And then later, Yoon Seo says "ive missed you, Se Eun" to Jung Won, i feel like it cant get clearer than that. I was very confused at first tho, and i had to think too much. Coming to this conclusion should not have been so confusing, they had many details that prove my ghost theory, but the order of things made me forget certain details bcus you wouldnt understand their importance when you first seen it, so by the end i wasnt even thinking about Yoon Seo saying " Ive missed you, Se Eun" cause im distracted by her dying (not actually, but we dont know that) and i was too busy thinking about the other loose story ends that they try to answer basically all at once in the last episode.
No minor cast, the story is like a whole new concept, AND it’s directed by the same guy who directed I Told the Sunset About You!! This is gonna be so good!! Like the poster alone was enough to made me wanna watch even without knowing anything, and the trailer did not disappoint

ik a lot are scripted to some degree, but i dont agree that this show has either scripted dialog, or outlined by producers, not all reality shows are made to that extent. They may direct others to have a conversation with each other, and maybe direct them (not force) to go with someone unexpected to paradise to make things interesting for the audience (which isnt that bad because they actually get to learn about someone they wouldnt necessarily have chosen to take to paradise), but they arent telling them what to say, or telling them who to be interested in. And like, they arent all actors nor would they necessarily be good at it pretending its unscripted. Also the show would probably actually have drama in it if it were scripted, but the only "drama" in this show is contestants being jealous and not even acting out on it, which is normal, especially on a dating show. Also to quote what the past contestant that i was referring to in my og comment said, "thats why its so awkward", and with all the awkward silence that the contestants do, im inclined to believe him. That being said, if the producers do suggest contestants do certain things (which we dont even know they do), and the editing in this show can manipulate scenes to look a certain way, particularly with facial expressions and the hosts commentary, those things could make the show be considered or appear scripted, but i dont think "scripted" its the right word to use in this case.
I literally just found this show and got incredibly invested and ended up watching a whole 6 episode on tiktok. It’s pretty entertaining to me. I haven’t gotten much of the romance yet but I don’t mind. I usually watch things for the romance, but I really like the story line, even if it’s a bit crazy. I want the FL to get her happy ending cause her life was so sad and she was nothing but kind, like wtf give my girl a break😭
I’m glad in this version the leads didn’t have a creepy age gap. Like in some other versions the female lead actor was still a minor while recording (one was even 15), and they had to kiss the male leads who were in their 20s
Joon and Minsungs feelings are both valid and i understand their actions. Jin on the other hand, hes the one making the situation uncomfortable, if he had handled it the way Jun and Seonwoo handled their love triangle with Sungho, i would understand. But Jin is being too invasive, and it annoys me that he keeps forcing moments between him and Minsung at THE WORST TIMES. Like i wanted to curl up and die at the zip lining bit, and then at dinner. And hes not just fighting for himself, hes not even letting Mingsung choose on his own, hes actively trying to but in on Joons relationship and moments with Min, while forcing his own when everyone is around. Which we know makes Min uncomfortable because of the atmosphere and competitiveness coming from Jin and Joon, but thats seemly bcus of Jin, and Min doesnt know that. I think he'll realize that in the next episode tho, bcus of the way Joon kinda pulled back, and decided not to message in the anon chat.
Wow they did so good with the run time, like it doesnt feel short, nor does it feel like its missing scenes. Like could it have been a full show, yeah, but it didnt need to be, cause they did so well. Im just in love with the couple so obv a full 40 min run time would have been nice, but i can only dream that for korean bl. This show was very good in all aspects tho.
i hate time jumps, and they did it twice😭 also i wish their relationship was clearer in the final episodes, cause episode 6 ended kinda open, but then episode 7 is an epilogue and its been another two years, but i wish we got to see what happened in the second time skip, because somewhere in there, they started dating, and i wanted to see their relationship blossom. Also because of that time skip, and the censorship/no kiss (which is fine) it was hard to tell how far their relationship had developed. Which to me was important, cause obviously you behave differently around your partner the longer you've been together. It could have been made clear though, even without kissing, but the writing and time jump are what make their development unclear, especially since some scenes in the epilogue/ep 7 made them feel less close to each other than when they were in highschool. Other than that, this show was really good, overall definitely one of the best korean bl ive seen in a while, I just wish the finale was done better.
I honestly didnt think i could watch this show since its bdsm and highschool themed, which are two themes that should not mix, but i definitely will not be watching this after finding out the actors are actually minors
