Domestic abuse is a huge part of the show and that has had an effect on their lives and shaped their identities. They were desperate, needed new identites that Ki Ho's dad wouldn't be able to track down. That was the only way to get away from him, I mean they were kids then, what would a single mother and two high schoolers have had against a respected police officer? We saw what the people on the island said about Ki Ho, they accused him of lying about his dad being abusive, said he was a juvenile delinquent. Obviously it's different now that they're all adults, but they were scared of going to jail if they were caught for identity theft, which would've come to light if they'd tried to prove that the dad was abusive.

She didn't want him to hurt them?? I would've done the same tbh. She was just trying to keep things calm and due to her own father being abusive towards her, she probably didn't want any punches thrown. Also, he was a cop, so he can probably fight better than the sweet and caring stepdad.

The point of this drama isn't for Ran Joo to become rich and famous again, she finally overcame her depression and her feelings of failure. She realized that there are many more things to life than wallowing in self-pity and being stuck in the past. Her vocal cords are damaged and she smoked so long that it has probably damaged her lungs, she needs to face that and she's finally finding her passion and purpose, rekindling her will to live.

Maybe he was just hoping that his dad would stop searching eventually and they'd be able to live their lives as they were... I mean he kind of tried to persuade his dad into living his life happily and staying away from them when he went to his dad's house. Idk. But he was also afraid that they'd be caught for the identity theft if he stepped forward, for obvious reasons.

Ok, I don't know how I feel about Mok Ha leaving Ki Ho and his family, I mean she finally got a good support net for herself. They're a found family, and I feel like Ran Joo kind of made Mok Ha think being famous is her dream yk? I think Mok Ha would be just as happy with being able to sing to small audiences at restaurants or small events... I don't know, it just feels like her dream is more about singing and less about being a huge star.

But like how cute is it that Ki Ho got her a house, and it took a whole lot of courage to be able to let Mok Ha go after finally being reunited with her... And Chae Ho is so strong for being able to hold his feelings for Mok Ha at bay for so long.

I hope that b1tch of a father gets a heavy prison sentence! I mean, stalking, blackmail, intimidation, domestic abuse, bodily injury, attempted murder, the list goes on! He should never be allowed to walk on the streets, ever again! Also, if he so much as tries to sabotage Mok Ha's musical career, I WILL strangle him! Not kidding.

Idk, I feel like if it was past life he'd know. He said he used to be human, so he remembers that at least. And don't supernatural creatures almost always know about their past lives and stuff? I really hope it's not a past life situation, it would be more interesting if her parents, or maybe auntie Joo, signed a contract with him.

FR LIKE I CAME HERE AND WAS SHOCKED AT THE RATINGS! Maybe this is just airing at the wrong time, I think people have higher expectations after Twinkling watermelon... Even Castaway diva and Perfect marriage revenge are airing at the same time and all of them are such great dramas... idk, I like this one and the others too, but that might be because I'm easily entertained so I enjoy almost everything hehe

Heyheyhey, slow down a bit XD I mean wouldn't he remember if she was his lover when he was human? I just read another theory here that speculated maybe her parents signed a deal with him years ago and that's how they're connected, I thought that was quite interesting! Idk about the rest but I don't mind if it's cliche, I like cliches hehe

Ok this drama is off to a good start! Not only has this one got amazing chemistry between the leading actors, but it's so hilarious! I love how unserious Gu Won is, I mean I was literally giggling like a maniac when he gave the olympic athletes the finger LMFAOOO. And Do Hee too, she jumped into conclusions so fast and was quite ready to make things dirty at the parking lot XDD. I love this!!

IT BEGANNNNNNN!! Ok there really isn't much going on yet (since it's the 1st episode) but I'm expecting a lottt from this drama. I mean the only mystery rn is how the powers got transferred to Do Hee and how Gu Won will get them back (if he will). I love the actors and they have great chemistry! As an enemies to lover girly, I can't wait for tomorrow's episode!

Oh I thought we already knew for a fact that he was involved XD. Exactly for the reason you stated and because he has the exact same date on his wrist as Yi Joo. But I was thinking the secretary could also be involved since he switched teams... Ofc that could happen just because it benefits him more to be on Yi Joo's team now that she isn't so naive.

Haha, I don't mind a love triangle as long as it ends up with everyone being friends and close to each other, I don't want that "I can't be just friends " thing that ends up destroying their relationships all together. I'm easily entertained tho, so even if this ends up like that I'll probably rate it at 10 LMAOO.

But yeah, I think the romance is hard to grasp for Mok Ha since she hasn't been in the society since she was a high schooler and now they're adults that need to think about marriage and stability rather than silly romances.

She is her mother, so obvi they have a good relationship. (I can't confirm this info until they reveal it to us, but the scar, the accident, the protecting, the wanting to keep seeing Yi Joo outside of classes)
