Ratings are based on lot of stuff and are outdated if drama caters to specific generation. Also they didn’t cancel DWY airing, while other dramas were cancelled..so games did have effect on few eps
for rom com airing on weekday 10:30pm to 11:40 pm it is decent rating…specially since many watched on many OTT platforms including real time Korean platform…jtbc stopped airing dramas in that slot since even previous drama has same average except for Good bad mother.
The topicality is what determines the success of drama, the drama has always been in top 5 and actors in top 10..recent ranking 2 and 4..

It’s romance focused drama, so chemistry is what makes it..I think because it’s mix of genres people are confused, people who like complete romance are dissatisfied with fantasy, ppl who like fantasy are dissatisfied with lack of exploring it towards end…but this drama balances everything of people doesn’t try to fit in and be open minded..

The other part is psychological with red hand: It is cured when he understands the reasoning behind it in flash back and also when he died for a sec..so that hand never bothers him again

Oh I remember your comment on ratings not being lower than 9 or something like that…it feels like leads were only given first 4 eps scripts lol…as they were talking about reading script for 7 th eps in ep 3 bts…lol ..even with reincarnation it would have been good if side characters are removed!
I never was addicted to drama chemistry before..took a day off as I couldn’t concentrate after completion of series, drank wine in morning to get through my sadness of drama being done..lol
I am always fascinated by spells and reincarnation stories, so was so excited for it specially after seeing interviews of leads where they are so friendly..this drama did leave up to chemistry and fun aspect, but there are regrets of editing.
They should have wrapped up SFL before as she didn’t do any to plot. The secondary characters kinda overacted which became annoying and I am not fan of other love track! Glad it’s on Netflix so I can skip the team leader love story!
Hope JBA comes back again stronger, as this didn’t do much to her career other than prev life scenes that were amazingly acted, by choosing projects after getting complete script rather than first 4 eps.. she is being unfairly hated for the decisions made towards end though most makes sense and others don’t …off to read tangeum and hoping director this time and does justice as it sounds interesting!
I love it so much that I couldn’t watch any from last couple of months…I just keep repeating the same scenes…
And there are few things that click more we watch..I saw Kent’s comment saying that this drama is more fun watching again….the director and writer puts subtle hints that’s why many are confused on this drama lol.
