yea iqiyi is doing a thing (variety shows) with their dramas under the name "100 wan ge yue ding" for their dramas like how they have 'light on' series the 'sweet on' etc (so some of their other dramas might have a little variety show too. i would believe it's like a marketing technique to increase popularity/viewership and to milk more money off them
