1. On what basis did you judge that the actor was the main problem? 2. Have you read the novel and grasped the character traits to conclusively say that the actor failed at portraying the specific character he is supposed to play VS your dreamboy or your's specific desire??? - Big fat answer to that is NO..
You know zilch about the character
3. Did you question or try to understand the process involved in playing a character - what goes behind setting a character and who all are involved - How do you know that the Director did not want him to play the character the way he is??? - Ans is a big fat NO
4. Lastly, you are going out of your way to extol bad to mediocre actors just so you can pull down Santa... and that behavior is despicable!
5. Bonus.... you are actually ignoring what people are highlighting about Santa's strengths, weaknesses or anything regarding the drama to just go on your tirade of anti-Santa
So, do not put up an act. You are allowed to just say you have your subjective opinion and other people WILL respond to that with their arguments... stop trying to hide behind "objectivity" to press your agenda

I think Perth and Santa have both done an incredible job bringing their characters to life. Santa’s portrayal…
correct.. it is the character itself which most people won't like...
it is like japanese comedy.. difficult to get used to to overthe top cute characters...
but the STRONG chemistry and the fact that Perth's acting is shining is palpable shows how much he is bouncing off off his partner... the synergy between the 2 actors is speaking for itself... all ingredients are there, it is just a matter of right script and right characters for this ship to make it big
if it is about acting skills then i'm afraid Dunk will never be safe
THK - thank the director.. it is to his credit that he is showcasing Dunk in a manner where his sstyle of "acting" is working.. but it is ample clear even in THK that Dunk is NOT a strong actor....infact people who are getting riled are getting riled because of him in THK (although i wouls say he suits the role... kinda like reply 1988 FL wherein despite lack of acting talent, with right direction, actor shines in his / her role.
In acting talent there is no present work vs older work... either you have the talent or you don't. Dunk is someone who needs to work hard to play a character. Acting is not his innate talent. That is the fact well established.
and in PL.. it is again the director who is creating these comedic moments and the way he wants to... otherwise the actors given to him are really good... although personally comedy is not Santa's suit
Dunk is actually getting better. He was decent in his straight series with Phuwin and is not bad in The heart…
I am not sure if Santa has excelled in comedy... he looks perfect for the character in the trailer of 2025 show... in 12% he was really good... i guess with serious scenes he will do well..
He is not bad.. but i think i expected better... but then also this is New... and i give it a side eye with the way he has been dealing these multi starrers comedy shows (albeit 10 liners is WAY MORE BETTER than the crap he pulled in We are)

kind of agree... Santa's comedic act is not v. good... even in the previous projects... i think he is good only in 12%.. but Santa is so many 1000X better than whatever Chimon was supposed to be
