i don't think kiss is missing because of casting.. it is missing as a directorial choice

ah well.. grey area.. the kiss scene was placed in the first place because of fan pressure

Personally, didn't feel let down.. the acting and flow did justice to overall content

My low bar for couple being more friends than a couple is 2gether season 1.. that high five..i am yet to see a show beat that low bar.. this show atleast had enough chemi and good acting

source material does not have a kiss.. dont' think lack of kiss diminished the quality, flow, or content in any way

works both ways.. if you have watched dirty dancing, the leads had crazy chemistry (swayze one) .. but they literally hated each other..

One of the most iconic scenes while filming the song Hungry Eyes (when FL giggles because she felt ticklish).. the behind the scene reality is that ML was super annoyed with FL because she kept breaking into laughter and they had to do retakes..
