Nope.. he didn't even know in the beginning how JDJ died.. because no one ever talked about it.. so he didn't know who had died 20 yrs ago.. and there was no face (remember his confusion)

So, ice stone will be needed to curb the firebird

Because Uk released it, he will take responsibility and use ICE and try to sacrifice himself

BUT BUT BUT... this is where BY comes into the picture..

She is unique because she knows how to harness the power of Ice stone. And, naksu is super strong to be able to withstand the impact..

World will be saved. Happy ending!.. or worst case, open ending like Hwayugi where you know one of them will be reborn and other has to find her/him

ice stone by itself is not a problem. It is a problem because 1. Mudeok is dead so Uk has lonely life 2. It attracts wraiths and general life is bad for uk

BY , just by her existence solves first two problems.


So, honestly, given this is magical fantasy drama.. the story must have a super powerful Hero to match the powerful FL.. so don't think they need to take the ice stone out of him

BUT hong sisters.. so there must be a catch.. that Uk's stone is needed to save someone.. so that turmoil plays out
