That's not true.. you are assuming you are samrter than others and if i were to be an impolite person, i would scoff at that notion
Slice of life doesn't mean isolated stuff.. slice of life means slice of life.. but it needs to come together.. and when a lot of people are questioning that in this season, you should try to understand that perspective instead of declaring everyone dumb and you alone being the smart one in the room

It is clear that he values true understanding and strong trust. if you go through his dialogues again you will realize he thinks women are attracted to his good looks and his body.. but no one looks beyond.. and he also sees through that hypocrisy (he is very perceptive and good at reading people, what they want, how to play that pull and push or get people to agree with what you want.. all of that needs a very high EQ)...
and then when he told Nabi love at first sight.. it was partly him wooing her.. but partly the truth that he realized very early on he feels differently about Nabi (but won't be clingy.. like with his mother.. he doesn't go to her, mom needs to come to him and be a mom)

And, that is what DH is to her... he used to be her best friend, don't forget that.. but he hasn't seen her through these years so it was easier to open upto him Vs say bitna or someone else.. (also, if she doesn't have best friend .. that is very telling of problems with her.. and then again reinforces that she is just making use of this opportunity with DH as distraction)
