If she is cursed..it would be nice to see the background of it..maybe her mother or father being cursed by a witch…
seems more like law of probability and random distribution by the nature.. she is not the only one with that curse.. another character has it
and i guess it is , as a novel, a commentary on how some people are always so unlucky or some always so lucky in life
although personally, karma logic beyond cycle of life and death and linked to people around you e.g. ancestors whose karma impacts yours as well makes more sense..
Like why is ML not attacked yet when he has liked the girl and has even done things for her + as adults literally followed her back to her home
