at some point I got tired of their set up but I understand why FL is cold and on latter episodes ( 20+) she’s slowly falling for our Crown Prince. The chemistry is really good and interesting side characters !!! I I can’t wait to watch Ep 27
In POJ toward the end of the drama you can see her hair sorted of without bangs.
I didn't notice that. And I saw the poster for Where The Mask Ends and noticed her bangs are parted on both sides so that’s going to be new to me. Can’t wait to see her again!
Started off strong with episode 1, but episode 2 was a struggle I had to skip some scenes. Especially at the end of ep 2 when you have a character on the phone who can hear a literal life-or-death struggle on the other end and their only reaction is to repeat 'Are you okay?' like a broken record, my interest just snaps. If the series relies on characters ignoring basic situational awareness, I'm out.
i watched this without expectations and it was really good. It has funny unhinged moments like them fighting with random people or things (iykyk) and there are some serious moments too. currently on episode 27 and I find it boring now. I think this is Lou Ren’s arc it was okay at first like ep 26 was okay but i find Leopard scene so off… the english dubbing and back to mandarin (?) . if im going to rate it all rn it would be 7.5/10 . I have to skip a lot of parts in this episode because its very “western” archetype villain. she’s just strong and crazy but not scary or thrilling like the others. it was not interesting on my end but others may like this not just for me.
im curious why he never go to Keep Running? I want to watch him there because I saw Hi6 and it looks like he’s enjoying hi time there so I think he would love Keep Running
I complain a lot when watching but with this one I’m just watching happily. They don’t overdo things that make me want to quit. The phone call past midnight is understandable tbh because it’s for the plot and it was not too much. I absolutely hate dramatic shows and I know there’s a point where they will show us that he/she suffered blablabla but I’ll see this to the end.
this is my first C-Drama and this drama made me watch TPOB, POJ, LOFG, FH, and some modern dramas that’s why this is a 10/10 for me. It was an opener to a world I never once fancied.

CAN I SAY THIS? I thought 4 of them were main leads but as the story progresses after they came out from the stone it became Ji Ling and Lu Wu Yi’s story. Loved them but I I watched this because I really love Episode 1 that it made me finish this. Episode 1 was full of power, and a smart and cunning Wu Wangyan :(( Im just disappointed that I never saw her fight again. And they made the 10th dragon weaker than the Double Flowered heroes ???? they nerfed him so bad.
I also don’t understand how did Ji Ling sacrificed himself if he already killed Jiu Ying 50 years ago (when Jiu Ying was creating Lu Wu Yi) ??? meaning the drought and other chaos did not happen and only the 10th dragon remembered what really happened.

Is he really from Beijing? Drama made him seem almost fromNearby town. And where is Jingcheng?
I thought he was from Beijing because he mentioned he’s from the Capital. About Jingcheng… I think Xiaolan opened their first shop there now managed by her aunt? (actually now confused😭)
