for those wondering on a !!!!potential!!!! s2, minhyun (gamin) is currently doing his military service and he’ll be discharged on december 20th this year! in an interview the director said that if it gets renewed he’d write the script while he’s finishing up his service so hopefully sometime in 2026 🥺
minhyun did 8 months of action school to prepare for study group and he did such an amazing job. for those who’d like to see more of him, he’s a kpop idol too! his solo album ‘truth or lie’ is amazing and he has almost 13 years of idol experience on his belt, so there’s tons of content to watch of him! besides becoming a solo artist, you might recognize him from nu’est and wanna one!

in an interview the director mentioned that he wrote study group as mostly a closed ending BUT he did that bc he wasn’t sure how successful it was gonna be. but if it gets a second season (which he wants), he said he would work on the script (like i said, IF it gets renewed) until minhyun gets discharged from the military in december 2025
i think after episode 6, the murder plot and things related to solhee’s ability are gonna intensify. even though some people think their relationship pacing is fast, i have a feeling doha is gonna suffer even more with the case most likely being resurfaced/opened? i can imagine doha and solhee probably getting into a major conflict at some point where it might take a while for them to recover from all the while both characters experience their individual conflicts and realizing they need eachother. lol idk i think i just over analyze things but i don’t think they’re gonna make things official with their relationship until near the end🥹

lol kinda ironic but someone on twt was like what if shaon is actually the ex and got like plastic surgery to change her face (i don’t think that’s true…? could be. would also be a crazy plot twist if it was ) but i was also thinking she could still be alive? i think her body not being recovered is the most daunting thing about the whole situation
i feel like doha has convinced himself so much that he killed her? idk there’s definitely layers to it. maybe it was self defence (her being upset with doha for leaving/breaking up with her when he made a promise that he wouldn’t and then out of rage tries to hurt him) OR his ex killed herself in front of him and hes blaming himself for it for not ddoing enough to help her?? that scene with shaon made me wonder that… i think his ex would say stuff like “i’m gonna end my life“ too like it’s hard to believe he’s a murderer with malicious intent from what we’ve seen so far
