I think cultural reference is definitely important here. East/South-East Asian audiences will probably relate to it more, though in my opinion, it is still a solid backstory and commentary on trying to survive in the modern world.

oh!! if you're past ep 7 I don't think you're gonna have any more hiccups until the end haha I personally think eps 10 and 11 are great!! and a few eps after that also give an insight into the characters and I don't think it was overdone at all!

I'm on ep 4 and it's... certainly an interesting drama. visually it's really pretty (idk where all that 'bad cgi' fuss is coming from lol), but I still don't feel the characters..

apart from the writing, the cast itself is incredible. I've always loved han hyojoo hut I genuinely think she outdid herself I this one

there is romance, but it's not in your face and is not the focus of the show. it feels natural

the acting is great and not at all awkward, which makes you empathize with the characters without a second thought; the story is interesting, but the way its told is non-linear, so if you don't like flashbacks, this show might not be your thing. but I still highly recommend to at least give it a try

I'm on ep 4 and all I can say about the male lead is that he's creepy, unappealing and a little out of place lmfao,, feels like the show could've done without him, but it's probably bc I still on the 4th ep.. but gyuyoung is beautiful as always

because Trying to control it is a risk in and of itself. if he wasn't successful he could've killed all of the survivors

it's.. a little messy I'd say, but I personally was expecting it after the first season. still enjoyable to watch if you're not to picky tho!

people saying that the scene between eunyoo and hyunsoo in the last ep was HOT scare me.. 1) that wasn't actually hyunsoo, 2) eunyoo looked scared as hell

they definitely will be on the next season, their story in the 8th ep concluded very very abruptly..

eunhyuk was literally infected and didn't want to put his sister and the others in danger.. did you actually pay attention while watching orrrr
