Very enjoyable, sad to see it end. Hopefully we get more VeeMark content in the spin off series as well! First I finished Triage, now this, hopefully whatever I pick next is just as enjoyable!
So there is just one thing that doesn't make sense in the last episode... How did Vee and his father happened…
I imagine it has to do with that one episode where Mark tries to walk home and Vee has to rescue him from those thugs and walk him back because it's dangerous. There was probably some conversation after Mark's parents left about how even though they sucked they should probably follow them to make sure they make it safely. At least that's what I assume lol
After all the drama that's already happened, and with only one episode left, I don't really care about Mark's parents seeing them getting naughty. I'm like "yawn, okay what's next"
Ep 7 was a soul crusher. I’m glad the episode was so long though. We got a rise, a fall, and the start of another rise all in one episode. I’m really loving this series. However I think Nuea is a fuckin snake. Using any and every opportunity he can to try to get close to Mark even though Mark has turned him down multiple times.
Jesus is there a kiss embargo for Japanese BLs or something? Another series and no final kiss to wrap things up. So disappointing. Overall still a very enjoyable series.
I'm sorry but this series really isn't as bad as so many people are making it seem. Does it have its faults? Oh absolutely, but its not a complete dumpster fire like some claim. I have several positive takeaways from this last episode.
1. Kim is FINALLY being sweet and receptive to Khamol's affection, we love that. And the little butt slap Khamol gave Kim and that whole interaction was cute.
2. The other guards being the biggest Khamol/Kim shippers? Adorable.
3. The whole Kim/Day/Itt/Salmon friendship and storyline is very wholesome. I like how they vibe together.
4. Also, a story with someone who is a literal mafia boss being openly gay and proud of it? Not ashamed to tell everyone his lover is a man? I mean come on now! (This probably happens in KinnPorsche too I just haven't seen that series yet)
My main fault is the lack of Khom/Baiboon content. We're running out of episodes here, I'm going to need more of their story.
Ep 4 was interesting. Interesting character choices. If I had sex with a dude and then asked him to be my boyfriend and he said no I would probably just try to disappear. No contact, that coffee shop would no longer exist to me. Not because I was mad, but because I'd be embarrassed. I certainly wouldn't keep bringing myself around him to throw myself at him the same way as before if not even more so! And then to skip all forms of logical communication to go straight to an "I never want to see you again" argument? Idk man. But at least something happened this episode!
Well, I've officially finished Triage. 13 episodes, and I would've watched 13 more. I do wish I watched along with y'all week by week, this is like the most respectful comment section I've seen on MDL, especially after a few certain shows that have aired lately (I won't name them, if you know you know lol). However, I think waiting week to week would've been too painful for me. I wish we would've gotten more time of them actually being together in the finale, but idk, something about that ending definitely suggested season 2 to me. I might just be overly optimistic about that though lol. Any time I finish a series I like I'm like "okay well obviously there will be a season 2" and that's happened maybe like 3 times total. I'm gonna miss it. If you see me rewatching it in two weeks just don't mind me lol.
