I don't get the hatred for sohyun's character. She is a police officer and she wants to do everything in order…
For me her character is hard to like. She only sees things from her pov. I get that we all do that as people but when you see even Ga On change who you never thought would it means that even he has seen things that cant be simply fixed the way they were doing it before. I find her an annoyance at times. Maybe she will discover something after talking to the priest. I kind of see that too that Ga On might go back because of all the things he just saw with his own eyes. I mean how do you even fight that fairly? I wish the officer saw that and would then see why Yo Han took the route he did. The powerful using their power to protect themselves.

I think he knows that if he cant have him on his side it would be like having his brother against him in a way and he wouldn't be able to go against him. Like he can be ruthless against others but not maybe against Ga On. That's what makes him dangerous. As of late I feel like that hasn't been on his mind as much though.
my favorite character is sun ah she is smart psycho and pretty at same time sometimes i feel so sad for her she…
I think at first it was because he looked like his brother and it was like he had him around him which maybe comforted him. I think it then turned into more because Elijah started to smile more and there was a noticeable difference when Gao On was around. Theyve started to eat together more and in the last episode he got them both to play a game. Hes slowly made himself part of their family. Remember Yo Han saying that humans are scared to lose what they once had well Ga On might be the one thing he doesnt want to lose.
I felt like it started to pick up at least for me at ep 33. I liked this drama. I was planning on watching this ages ago but was scared of the length of it as I typically watch shorter dramas but this made sense. I liked how their friendship grew and turned into something unbreakable. I feel like Lan Zhan was his true family all along :) The ending was bitter sweet.
TBH I was surprised that the minister killed herself. It was an easy exit for her. No retribution and just making…
I will say the minister was my favorite among the villain's. I feel like Yo Han didn't anticipate that ending either. It was obvious to me when she didn't end up using the gun on Yo Han though. That gave me the idea that maybe she was going to do that In a way.
Ep 11. Wow that was intense. It had such great moments but also shocking moments. I loved seeing how Ga On was able to see that Yo Han just needs a little help when it comes to interacting with others and that he does indeed have a desire to do so. He saw past what others couldn't. He really does look like a happy family with them. On the other hand seeing Ga On search her body like that after she was dead was disturbing. Its like he was lost for a second and Yo Han was just watching and his expression was maybe also confused. As for what the next episode it seems like they are making him choose between Yo Han and Yoon Soon Hyun. They are like oil and water and have been since the beginning. I just feel bad that Ga On is being put into that predicament. Like how do you even chose? I feel like yes he has grown up with her but Yo Han relates to him on a level she hasn't been able to so they both have a part in his life that helps him to move forward. I don't want a sad ending for them. Why can't they get along please.
It makes sense if they make it Daon and not Shinwoo to a degree because he has had so much human development. He has learned to say no to someone this episode and that alone is huge. I feel like shin woo is just such a nice character that I feel bad for him.
This was sad really. I understand Da-on too though which makes it hard. I feel like if he ends up with Shin-woo it will be rushed. I feel like all we have been hearing from Taegyung has been Da-on this whole time so I don't know. I like Shinwoo don't get me wrong but man this is sad.
Ga on's poker face after soo hyun left???, what is the meaning of that after saying yo han is very poor while…
He was saying that although Yo Han has all the money in the world it hasn't been able to bring him happiness. He's a lonely guy who lives with his niece in a big house that causes him to remember past trauma and he has yet to deal with it fully. Plus as was said in a recent scene while building the card tower he has no friends. I think he hides behind that fact that he doesn't like people because like he has been saying to Ga On lately its harder for humans to lose what they already had. I think its a barrier to protect himself. I think its just Ga On is more self aware now to see that he has more in terms of support around him while Yo Han didn't (I now see Ga On as potentially being one of his supports going forward so I hope they don't betray each other). Ga On is finally looking past what he saw/heard and has learned to observe for himself and was able to make that statement to his friend who was under a different impression of Yo Han (of course he may still be skeptical of him but I feel like its slowly improving). That's what I think anyways.
Ep 10. Well now he has a target on him but that was to be expected. I just hope he doesn't end up dead by the end of the drama. I feel like it would be too sad of ending for someone who has suffered so much as him. He is finally opening up more and maybe he will become friends with Ga On or consider him like family. I feel like they relate to each other so well ( I feel like someone like that in this world can be a blessing).
Episode 9 was really well done. Ji sung really did such an amazing job portraying the emotions so well I felt. I love how we are seeing more of the inner workings of Yo Hans brain. It helps that he is being more open which in turn helps Ga On understand him more. I think this helps Ga On see Yo Han in a different light than before. For example when he was sharing about the maid incident and he reminds Ga On not to judge him right away like others do (what a sad expression he had on his face). I loved the scene where they were all eating. I could see Ga On's presence within the household has been a positive one. It makes me both sad and happy when I see Yo Han smiling because I just feel like he has been lonely for so long but he finally found that person that makes him feel something. I also found it amazing that Yo Han held Ga On back from doing something he would regret later. Yo Han does need the man for his plan but he still gave Ga On the exacto knife. The moment when Ga On had the opportunity to get his revenge he threw the exacto knife (this to me shows that Yo Han had trust in him to do what he needed). I could see that Yo Han was impressed by that. In that moment I sensed the hope the cast had been describing Ga On's character as. The only hope within the dystopian world.
Be prepared to have tissues by your side. This drama has many sad moments. I loved how their friendship grew throughout. I'm glad he had him during his darkest moments. They helped each other when they both needed it most :)
Can someone explain to me why yo han tries so hard to recruit ga on except for the fact that he is one of the…
I've been trying to figure this out too. I think he is genuinely the first person with whom he relates to the most. He said in one episode that he felt flustered after hearing him say he understands him the most even if other don't with regards to the emotion of anger. I also feel like maybe he feels like he will be getting revenge with the help of his "brother" and that's why he tried so hard to get him on his side. I can sense this from the scene where Ga On hit him and then he told him to never do that again (because to him his brother never did that and was the one that was protecting him when he was young). I don't know at the end really but yeah it intrigues me non the less and has me watching to see what happens next if anything.
I still wonder what Yo Han meant when he said he didn't want Ga On to be behind him? The wording they chose throws me off. He also said he had no choice so I wonder why he feels that way? I dont see him saying that about the others maybe because they are expendable and Ga On might not be? (In reference to the moment Yo Han was speaking to his henchmen about why he had Ga On on board with everything).
I kind of see that too that Ga On might go back because of all the things he just saw with his own eyes. I mean how do you even fight that fairly? I wish the officer saw that and would then see why Yo Han took the route he did. The powerful using their power to protect themselves.
