Sadly you are right. Is it bad to say that I didn't feel bad when the child died? (I knew for what reason like you mentioned so I couldn't just feel anything but annoyance.) And as far as I know it was partly promoted as a romance so I don't know why it is nearly nonexistent. The writer didn't bother with a lot of things lol. A screenwriting class wouldn't be so bad.

True. On another note I see you are a My Mister fan? Great drama. Can't help wondering what a drama Why Her would have been if the My Mister writer and director tackled this drama.

People hating noona dramas and still watching them only to complain about it. People hating student-teacher (he is not a minor) and still watching only to complain about it too. People not liking romance but still watching a drama that is partly a romance drama and complaining about it as well and even going so far as to give the romance all the fault for the drama's misgivings even though the romance is only a small part of it. People saying they dropped the drama only to complain each new episode again how much they hate it. Is it for the sake of just hating something or what?

Imo they shouldn't have made her the daughter of Oh Soo Jae. The plot already had enough reason for Oh Soo Jae's revenge. It is just another 'twist' to shock the audience and rise the ratings.

There are many dramas that deserve a lower rating lol. But you are right.

Since the drama was announced I waited for it eagerly. Mainly because it was a noona drama or at least partly. Now all I can say is that the drama is a big disappointment. They really went off the rails with ep 14. The drama is all over the place, unbalanced, depthless etc. and most importantly a SOAP. The writing (and maybe directing) is a mess to put it mildly. The writing failed on all accounts and wanted to tackle too much. And the biggest draw for me was the romance, which by the way, was only a small part in a partly romance drama (WTF) and couldn't be developed like it should (nothing against the actors). Everything (every plot point or character ) wasn't developed like it should. Wasted potential .

Well explained. Imo even the best actors (with like 100 oscars ;-) can't save a bad script. But a director is important too. If it is a great director and who feels the script, he can elevate it in the best kind of way and can even deepen the script. Anyway I will watch till the end even though the writing is not the best because I like noona dramas and there aren't a lot of it.

Me too! Also I wouldn't say no to older woman/younger man dramas that are darker and more mature.

Yeah I did ! But it was a hard watch tbh. It was good but hard because sometimes it was really depressing.

I watch c-drama and k-drama. I like complex darker ones. I see you are a kim tae ri fan? I love the Handmaiden so maybe you can guess what a tone and writing I like.

The writing should have been better balanced imo. 50 % villains and schemings etc. and 50% for the two leads as a pair and individuals. Or even 40/60.

Hope there are coming more older woman /younger man dramas. Can't wait for this one.
