I’ve been watching this series kind of off and on as just something in between other series, but I’ve watched six episodes in a row and I’m just like I need to keep watching it cause I find it pretty funny. I love the female friendships and how the girls are with Old Third. Too funny! I did just finish POJ so I went back to this to watch more Tian Xi Wei. I really like her and she’s one of the few females I don’t find annoying.

I came here trying to find answers to her character cause I too am on episode 10 and she’s driving me insane. I feel like the last few Chinese series I’ve watched have some kind of annoying and/or whiny female character in it and it totally ruins the entire show for me.

Just finished the last episode and I’m sad it’s over. I haven’t been able to sit through a series from beginning to end in a while. I usually get kind of bored between episodes 15 and 20 and find something else to watch. I may or may not come back and finish that series. I really enjoyed this and liked all the characters, even the villains. Lol. All great actors!

Adding to this, episode 26 she says her period is a week late. She’s always denying him a kiss though there’s been a few here and there, but we’re supposed to believe that they’ve slept together and she could possibly be pregnant? When did I miss them like even remotely being that close and alluding to them sleeping together?

I’m on episode 20 and I just have to say the man is such a green flag and sweet but she can’t even give him a damn kiss. 🤣At this point I’m a tad annoyed with how often she denies him. Poor guy. lol

I feel this! I like the actors and I like the characters but it’s just too slow for me especially for 30 episodes. I’m getting a little bored with it and I’m only on episode 8.

I’m really happy I saw your comment! I just finished One and Only (though I watched Forever and Ever after) and was really sad with how it ended and cried way too much. You saved me more heartache! Lol.

Started watching this today after immediately finishing One and Only and it’s slowly healing my soul bit by bit after the amount of times I cried watching that. Zhousheng Chen is such a green flag and so cute in this! It’s a tad slow but adorable.

This was a good series, but I also wish I wouldn’t have watched it. Too sad and depressing. No happy ending and no one ended up with who they loved. I’ve never cried so much watching a series. 😭 Hopefully Forever and Ever makes me feel better. lol

I feel this so much! I don’t mind a slow burn, but this is like a glacial burn. I periodically every couple of episodes say out loud this is episode 18 already and pretty much nothing has happened between her and the male lead still?! it has such good ratings that I keep trying to give it a chance, but at this point, I just want to drop it. At the same time I’ve already put so much time into the series to just quit. I just finished Who Rules the World and was looking to watch more of Zhao Lusi’s series.

I really liked how head over hills he was for her and he got overlooked for so long. Plus he was very cute! 😂

I enjoyed Pit Babe 1 and 2, but this series blew them out of the water! It was thrilling and a fresh breath of air as far as the plot. I looked forward to being creeped out every Friday! I really enjoy watching Pooh and Pavel on screen together and can’t wait for their next series.

I just started watching this two days ago and I’m hooked. I feel SO bad for Zhuo Wen Yuan because I feel like he’s made it blatantly obvious he has feelings for her, but he continues to compete with the ML and won’t just give up when he sees she clearly feels a certain way towards Yan Yun Zhi. I’m definitely rooting for the ML. I find the series so far to be funny, lighthearted, and refreshing from what I’ve watched lately.

I feel like we’re in for a ride. Well not us but them…😏

Good series, but that’s how it ends?!

Agreed, very annoying. It’s sadly the reason why I couldn’t even get through the first episode of Love Between Fairy and Devil and I keep saying out loud as I watch this series how annoying and whiny she sounds. I’ve been waiting for this series to come out so I’m trying to just get through it.

I don’t have words, but I also have too many words. 😂 The editing is absolutely awful. During episode 4 the grunting didn’t match up with hardly any of what was actually happening. This also wasn’t the first time I felt like you’re listening to audio just slapped over a scene. In one of the previous episodes, the audio made it sound like they were “very physical” but hardly anything was actually happening in the scene other than like kissing. I keep asking myself why I’m still watching it every time a new episode comes out.

Lol I don’t mean to discourage you from watching it but I’m personally annoyed with her. She’s been in every episode for maybe 10 minutes tops, but I just don’t like her personality. She tries to act like a baddie but just comes off as a spoiled brat to me who thinks she’s all that. When I see four dudes on a poster, I’m going to assume it’s mostly about male friendship but then they introduce a female character and of course she seems to be getting heart eyes for one of the main male leads. I’m just picky about the females in Chinese series so I tend to judge more harshly than most. If I decide to keep watching, I can let you know if things progress romance wise or not.

I too was hoping so based off of the poster but the annoying female that’s been in it so far is giving off crush vibes on Jiang Wen Huan. So we’ll see.

I enjoyed this series so much! Though it was a romance, I like how it wasn’t the main focus and there was plenty of action, fighting, some humor and drama. I get annoyed easily by a lot of the female leads in Chinese series whether it’s their voice alone or just how whiny/clingy they are. He Yan is the type of character I prefer when watching a series and doesn’t need a man to save her or speak up for her. The ML was also amazing. I enjoyed their acting and felt they had good chemistry. I’ll definitely be rewatching this in the future.
