Did a rewatch and I loved it just as much as the first time, truly my favorite cozy drama. This time around I became even more obsessed with the music and OST's of this show, the first time around I liked them but I don't think I appreciated it enough, the music from ECLIPSE is genuinely SO GOOD and the lyrics are so fitting to their story, love it.

A little side note, it's wild to me that months later and this comment section is still a MESS omg, I thought people would have moved on by now. Camping in the comments of a drama you hate is a new level of obsession lol.

Not that it's any of my business what others think but I would say some people are being a bit dramatic regarding the whole Argan plot.. like yes it was ridiculous and as I was watching I was also scratching my head wondering what the hell was going on but in the end they still wrapped up everything and it was a good ending. It was a very fun and entertaining drama from the beginning till end, it had some makjang and wattpad moments here and there but I honestly already expect those from k-dramas so they don't bother me too much and I even enjoy them if done well. Overall had a great time and let me praise these two actors for their chemistry and AMAZING kissing scenes, out there with some of the best I've ever watched so kudos to them! Loved it.

Didn't he cheat ? and didn't he pull her down for her depression. He is an awful man
Did you watch the new ep? No he didn't cheat.. And yes what he said to her when she was feeling so down sucked but I understand his side as well. Having a partner deal with a serious illness and then depression is extremely exhausting for both of them. He should have handled it better but these situations are always so tricky to navigate. Seokryu herself understands that in the present and doesn't blame him.

I'm actually glad that the ex wasn't a jerk and that their breakup was due to them being in different points of their life and not being able to work through it together, that's so realistic and happens so often in real life, it was refreshing seeing it so well portrayed! I also don't understand why people would say the ex feels more like the main love interest? Based on what? Simply because we got to know their past? Something we very much needed to see!?
I wish people were more patient, I know this is a romcom and we all wanna see the main couple being happy and in love but I prefer when it's earned and it happens at the right time and not just for the sake it, for them to then break up in the last few eps to get together again in the last one. I'm personally really enjoying the pacing.

Could you possibly put yours as a spoiler. I’m only on episode one and it seems you’ve posted a major spoiler.…
Done, sorry about that. But I advise you to never come check comments on here unless you are caught up, I always forget to put the spoiler tag because most don't either and it's used as a "forum" to discuss everything openly.

Just finished catching up on this show and I'm loving it! Also damn people on twitter were being so dramatic over the ep 8 reveal of her having cancer (sadly I got spoiled) that I thought she was dying or something!! That doesn't seem to be the case at all? from both the reveal and the next eps preview she's clearly okay and has overcome the cancer, she just had a crisis due to what she ate + all the stress. The conflict is clearly more about her having gone through all that alone without telling anyone in her family/friends...
Either way I'm loving the angst, it always makes their inevitable coming together be so much more emotional and earned!

What an amazing drama, great from beginning till the very end. The amount of parallels that this drama has throughout its whole run has to be one of the most beautiful things about it, I love it so much . New all time favorite drama, without a doubt. I'm gonna miss these characters so so much, a re-watch will be happening soon, that's for sure!

loool tbh what can they even say to that. they just took it as friendly teasing. but tbh they both look so cautious…
It's normal tbh, when they went to the radio the drama hadn't exploded yet so they were more relaxed. Now they know their every move is being watched + Wooseok's explosive popularity means he has some obsessive fans who think of him as a type of boyfriend so Hyeyoon is cautious.

Am I the only one who doesn't need the psycho taxi driver's backstory? I mean for what? I see a lot of people…
Same. I don't understand why people keep wanting him to have an extra motive or something. As if all killers need to have a personal reason/vendeta against all their victims. They don't, and the Taxi driver doesn't either. Sol isn't his first victim, he has already killed someone and is just a psychopath who enjoys killing, Sol was his next victim and then she escaped and had to be terminated, that's it lol.

You described the summary for episode 14, it's what's going to happen which is stupid btw because how can you…
I don't think it's that stupid tbh I mean if we think that way then it's stupid that there's time travel at all. This is clearly not meant to be realistic, especially when it comes to the "magic" so it seems reasonable to me that he would be able to get an insight/memories from other timelines.

I just realized something. The script/movie that Sol is working on/made could be her and Sun Jae's story! We don't know for sure and this is just me theorizing but when describing the movie we learn that her boss thinks "it's neither a thriller nor a romance" which is basically how this drama is categorized! Then later on when the boss says she will accept her proposal she says "we could make a really good youthful romance movie out of it" which once again is basically this drama/their story!
Then in the preview we see SunJae reading a script, what if it's her script and he gets his past lives memories through reading it?

That's just my current theory, I might be completely wrong though but something to think of till the next ep.

I will say though I'm actually glad Sunjae died from that fall, I was worried for a second that they would have him survive that when we all know in reality that would have been IMPOSSIBLE. So despite obviously not wanting him dead I'm glad they didn't pull THAT move lol.

Well this episode sure is A LOT omg. I think I will have to wait before I pass any judgment because there's still a lot we don't know and that could still be explained in tomorrow's episode so I think it's best to wait and see what they will do. The main gripe everyone seems to be having at the moment is that everything Sol and Sunjae lived together is gone and I obviously would also feel very upset if that was the case. HOWEVER I genuinely believe it won't stay this way, I think he will be able to get the memories of his past lives back, probably through the watch somehow. Otherwise it would be too cruel to have everything that happened only live in Sol's memories, even if they do fall in love again. And I don't think the writers would want their love to be only about their adult era but about everything they went through so I firmly believe he will eventually know about it all and "remember".

Also WAIT, IF she knows that something is gonna happen on the ClIFF WHY STAY BACK?Eventually it's gonna happen,…
I guess it's because if she's on a remote place away from Sung Jae then he can't come for her at all, while in their hometown he would be with her pretty much all the time.

This drama just keeps outdoing itself it's mind blowing! Ep 11 and still not a single miss! Even if we are for sure about to get more angst I don't even mind because I have full trust that it will all be done well and it will keep us interested/at the edge of our seat and be wrapped up well!

one thing I am sad about after ep10...has the ep8 kiss totally vanished into the air??? 😭😭They better give…
That kiss vanished into the air the moment Sol went to the past, sadly 😭
On Lovely Runner May 7, 2024
Today's episode was so damn good ahh! Though I wonder what's in store for us, with our couple being happy there's bound to be sadness to follow... and seeing as we still have 6 eps left.. I'm scared. Also wonder what that ending scene means, Sungjae ends up never becoming an idol which isn't something bad per se but the fact that they ended the episode that way makes me think that will have some important repercussions...
On Lovely Runner May 6, 2024
I never understand why people get frustrated when the main couple isn't together for a few eps, I mean what were you expecting? There's still 7 eps left they need to keep it interesting and move the plot/story along without it becoming boring! As much as we want them together and happy it's just not realistic to expect it to happen in ep 9, there would be nothing left to do at that point. The reason we keep watching dramas is bc it keeps us on our toes and hungry for more, that's the whole formula!
Plus it's not like it doesn't make any sense for Sol to act the way that she's acting, she literally saw him die (almost) twice, that's so traumatizing and she blames herself, ofc she will do everything to stop it. It might be frustrating for us as viewers but in terms of how the characters are acting it's all super reasonable. I wish people would just relax a bit more and enjoy the ride, I'm sure we will get more couple moments and our happy ending.

Okay so my theory is:
In the first timeline the taxi driver had his eyes on Sol to kidnap and kill but she escapes (despite losing the ability to walk) and is saved by Sungjae who is responsible for him getting caught and put in prison so when he is released, 15 years later, he goes after him for revenge and kills him. Sungjae never killed himself.
However, because Sol went back in time and changed things she managed to save herself from being hit BUT as a consequence the taxi driver was never caught and got away and we learn that one year later she had another incident; this incident is the one hinted at in that dream of hers (and also why the mom says 14 years have past and not 15). So the taxi driver likely tracked Sol again and tried to attack her once more but she was once again saved by Sungjae who I assume managed to get the taxi driver caught and put in prison again. So he goes to prison but this time one year later so when Sol comes back to the present that's why Sungjae doesn't die, bc the taxi driver is still in prison. However, we saw that he's recently been released so he once again went after Sungjae for revenge and he probably did die again. In the preview for next week we see Sol back in the past so she will have a third (and probably last chance) to change it all in order to save herself and Sungjae!

In my opinion the taxi driver was the culprit for the original timeline’s SeonJae incident and it will be the…
Omg that's such a good theory and it makes perfect sense because they do show us the dorbell ringing in Sungjae's apartment the night of the incident and him looking behind at it! He likely goes to open the door and then the taxi driver kills him and makes it look like suicide!
