I prefer the story in LTTG because I think the drama was better executed from the source novel.Secondly, I think…
I mainly preferred TLB because of Le Chagge/Dilraba. All my focus was on DD during the whole drama. I actually hated Jhao Lusi in The Long Ballad. She was way too immature in there. I prefer adventure rather than plain story. That's why TLB is my favorite. But I'm enjoying LLTG too. ππ
I think I enjoy the restrained emotions that just spills over the characters more, there is nothing epic about…
I agree with you. TLB is more adventure focused while LLTG is more political. But I really loved Le Chagge ππ At first she was a kind, brave and really loveable princess. Then she became an orphan in just one night. She was betrayed by her most favorite person. She lost everything at a glance. Then she became a cunning warrior who wanted revenge at any cost. But she didn't lose herself in the way. She learned to think big, learned to forgive. Ashili Sun was her silent protector. She did so much for her but in return didn't expect anything from her. That's why she also loved him with everything she had. How they portrayed Le Changge is just more appealing to me. This is all my personal opinion. That's all.
I love this one more. Ling buyi is more crule, and his characters is consistent. Sure he falling in love, but…
Jhao Lusi is cute. But Dilraba is rough and tough. Personally, I'm a more fanboy of Lusi. At first, I only watched k-dramas, I didn't like c-dramas much back then. Then I watched 'Romance of Tiger & Rose' on the recommendation of one of my friends and instantly fell in love with c-dramas. Believe it or not, I'm a huge fan of JL. But I love the character development of Le Chagge much more. It's not like I'm not enjoying LLTG, I'm definitely enjoying it. It just I liked TLB much more. JL is cute. She is funny, childish, loveable. I can't imagine her in a rough and tough character like DD on TLB. Why I'm a more fan of Le Chagge? At first she was a kind, brave and really loveable princess. LLTG is much plainer than TLB. There was so much struggle, so much war, so much life loss in the TLB. That's what made Le Changge a fantastic character.
Now I'm watching 'Love like the Galaxy' and I still think 'The Long Ballad' is the best in this genre. What did you think guys? The struggle of Le Changge, how she transformed from a shot-tempered cunning princess to a mature, kind-hearted leader, that's second to none. I like Leo Wu more as Ashili Sun than Ze Shange. Ashili Sun is the best hero in my eyes.

I just started the drama and I'm loving President Xu Guang Han very much. He is kinda cute, you know. His and Li Na's chemistry is out of the world... π€£π€£π€£
I think FL is kinda slow in EQ! Three boys racing for her, to win her attention, but she has no idea! Is it believable? Normally girls have clearer ideas than boys in this kind of situation, don't they?
Watching this because i'm interested with zhou yi ran and he was listed as main actor, but then his first appearance…
But he is the lead with childhood connection and normally the lead will childhood connection win the race, i mean girl! Here, he didn't get the girl so they give him the title of main lead as a Consolation Prize π€£π€£π€£
You know what I hate most? When your closest one, whom you love most, lies to you in the face, hides things from you, for your sake, to protect you. They think by hiding the truth they are protecting you. But in the end, they are the ones who put you in danger. And they did it every drama. Every. Damn. Drama. Seriously? πππ
When did they get together again?
All my focus was on DD during the whole drama.
