I am honestly liking this! Reminds me so much of "What Comes After Love" but this is much softer and cutesy. Flawed main leads and I quite like their character development so far.... But lol their kissing scenes are so awkward 💀
Mina better make up her mind! She is so frustrating but can't help but adore her 😆 Chemistry between Subeen is so intense!
There was teaser on the first episode where a couple on paradise shared a bed and lowkey hoping it was them lol I remember a girl mentioning that they should kiss?? was it Mina? 🤭
Uhm genuinely asking because I did not get it or might have overlooked:I thought Yunsu locked up Sehun on their basement after almost killing him. But why did he came back playing video game again and got him killed??
This had so much potential!! The first two episodes were seriously good but then it got messed up. Tbh, I was still hooked till the end but I was watching it while feeling disappointed.
Where did the strong, logical, and has "nunchi" FL go when she went to Muchang???
The romance part was not convincing at all. ML just suddenly went all-in with FL on protecting her life without even showing us enough scenes how he developed feelings for her.
ML saying that Juwon seems to like her more than him was not convincing as well. Again, there were not enough scenes to show us how they made a stronger bond.
Honestly, my favorite here is the Principal. She's hilarious and nailed her character.
Choi Sung Eun is underrated and I have been anticipating for her projects when I first saw her on The Sound of Magic. (She resembles Roh Yoon Seo so much, they could pass as sisters.)
Lee Jae Wook's visuals here genuinely mesmerized me 😭 Like his outfits and his eyeglasses look so good 🤌🏼
Story-wise, I'm actually loving this so far. I just accepted the fact that this is a typical kdrama with love triangles. I love when men yearn and this is exactly it. 8 episodes in and honestly now makes me frustrated with all feelings unsaid but you know what, I'm just going with the ride. I enjoy the comedic parts and they look natural doing it.
I just hope the remaining episodes we'll see them handle their feelings more maturely and also I would love to get to know more the story of the second leads 🥹
The two main flaws that bothered me were the team cooking battle plot and the ending. That battle was just so damn long that could have used that time to idk focus on the more relevant characters? The much awaited ending was such a letdown for me. It was rushed, too convenient, and left me hanging for answers.
There were other flaws but still greatly enjoyed this. This is Lee Chaemin's breakthrough and I can sense that he will bag awards for this! So glad this took me out of my kdrama slump :)
The panel was especially useless here. They either made fun of them in their most vulnerable moments or made excuses…
One thing I didn't like was how Car lowkey fatshaming Sangho. I may be wrong about this but that is just how I see it. When he was mentoring Sangho, he was insisting not to wear those cute character shirts because they would look stretched when he'd wear it. :(
Yido and Minhong are definitely pure hearted souls cause if that was me I would just feel bitterness and resentment towards JM lol. Never felt this heartbroken after a dating show ended...
My strong independent women deserve better. I love how they stayed true to themselves. I wish nothing but happiness and love for them!!
When "he fell first but she fell harder" went wrong 😭
I'm so affected and my heart breaks for Yido 💔 They looked so good together but sadly I agree that they seem to really be on different wavelengths. I just hate how JM communicated what he really felt. Men aint shit. And also, I love you Yido but don't chase JM anymore lol. I was cringing when she was still trying to get his attention. (and seriously even Yeomyoung and Minhong, girls you deserve better)
If JM did not express any interest in Yido from the start,,, JM and Jiyeon's story would have been so cute. Like, Jiyeon was really just being so cool and being herself. They were platonic but then a eureka moment came into JM. Honestly, so cute. But I honestly can't forget what he did to my dear Yido. I'm heartbroken and crying 😭😭😭
I watched this without even knowing the premise and I thought this would be light and fluffy drama 😭 turned out to be traumatized characters that badly needed therapy 😭
I was expecting a time skip in the present day tho 🥲 I rated this 8/10 :)
I was shipping Yido and Jeongmok since day 1 and I loooove where this is going!! I think the director is just playing with us with the ending of ep6. I trust Jeongmok 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
I honestly like her chemistry with Subeen. If only she did not keep switching man every few hours, they could have been such a hot couple.
