After she completed the game she chose to stay but when her father died she felt she needed to go back to the real world. MS felt and and gave her his soul elixir to crush. Telling her to crush his elixir (killing him) once she leaves to her world and MM said I will not kill or leave you, I will take you with me. As she was able to complete the game, she can fulfill one wish to come true and that’s bringing MS to her world.

Yes, she did many times to change the plot while she’s in the game or novel as LMM acting as the character Ling Yu, that’s why the original Ling Yu who is the support character and who’s bad and jealous was never brought up again. It’s like the original Ling Yu in the novel was erased because of LMM changed many of the plots . The reason why many of the novel characters thought LMM as Ling Yu is a complete different person.
