You’ll not be disappointed with DYX here. Also, the FL is giving though you might find her to be reckless at times but she is smart.

I am actually rewatching 😭😂 It’s really a good series and many find it a slow burner kind of romance but it’s definitely well executed and you’ll understand more in the later episodes. It’s just a shame that it’s rating are not that high, I think the subtitles factor during its airing time brought it down.

From episode 3 until 13 you’ll find very cute scenes of them in a sense that FL is starting to grow on him. Though at these episodes FL is trying not to get closer to him as he told her she is not the woman he wants to marry. By episode 13-14 he tried to kiss her and then on they’ll start to be more open in their actions, until the confessions in episode 25. I can go on with a timeline but this is spoiler already 🥹

You’ll enjoy it more in the later episodes as they are one of the harmonious leads in cdrama after of course their confessions.

Hi, so his title is “Guógōng” which means Imperial Duke that is awarded to Generals or high-level civil officials. Since his father was a high ranking General, by law he inherits the Duke title and so does Duke Su’s male descendants. For your question on why he is called Su when his name is Xiao Hong, Su is considered as his courtesy name he acquired when he came of age or when he bacame an adult which is 20 years old at that period.

The general public will have to address him as Duke Su and only his family and people with close relationships with him can address him with his birth name. If you noticed in the series, Only his family, the Emperor and XFF/ Jiang Li were able to call him Xiao Heng while the others addressed him as Duke Su.
