This make sense, no way that they can change it mid airing and increased the episodes to what was approved. But there was somewhat similar stuff that happened years back with Empress of China with FBB. It didn’t air for two weeks because NRTA find that the costumes are way to showy on the cleavage area. So they requested the remaining episodes to be edited and submit for approval again, they did and it aired back after two weeks. I’m saying that there is a possibility but regarding if they have materials to extend the episodes that’s what I’m not sure or how they will do it.
But hey I’m just dreaming, I hope it will be extended but I also know it’s only 33. 🥲🥲

I think this is the first time I’m saying this in a comment section, that the rewatch value of this series is definitely a 10! Last time I rewatched a drama was Blossom, MOGA and MJTY, this being the first Xianxia. This series really hits different and hard. I’m not ready to see this end and even if they make this 70 episodes, I would gladly watch it.
But hey I’m just dreaming, I hope it will be extended but I also know it’s only 33. 🥲🥲
