All BLs are colorist because 99% of the time the actors have lighter skin because that's what people want to see.

thank you so much for your great points. you are the only person that sees that this is not ok...and thank you for pointing out that people pass this as humour and jokes but it actually can potentially hurt someone. just a quick question , because im failing to understand how people are attacking me for pointing out colourism in the asian community .. do dark skinned asian actually believe they are ugly and actually need these products?. like do they really think themselves that they are ugly because they are dark?. im failing to understand why people are attaching me for saying that people should be happy with their skin and not feel the need to change it. im actually confused.

i dont feel like i should support a show that promotes a product that can be harmful to the health of its audience. that is all. im not in USA. and i could care less of what happens there. Fundamentally bleaches is damaging to the skin and that shouldnt be promoted. and if you feel like you should give your money to a show that doesn't care about its audience then do so. im just saying I wont. my comment never said others shouldnt watch it. I am saying why i am not watching it. thats all.

My comment is about colorism in the Asian community, I'm very aware of the difference between racism and colorism. I'm talking about the audience that might be Asian and dark skin. They shouldn't feel like they need to be white as snow to be beautiful. imagine if you are a dark asian watching that show telling you you will be more beautiful if you lighten your skin. how would you feel?. you would feel like you need to change your skin. i know white skin is the ideal in Asia but i feel like shows shouldn't go out of their way to tell their darker audience bleach their skin. Colourism is not the same as racism and colourism exist in every community including the black community. Its something all communities need to work on,

thats one thingg... but directly saying to your audience to go get your skin bleached is one thing.. directly promoting skin bleaching to a young audience is socially irresponsible .
this is such a shame. this show has a potential to be one of the greats. but episode 12 and 13 just dragged the show down. i hope it improves in the coming episodes.

i have to agree with you. i am at a point im not rooting for anyone. just watching how the drama unfolds.. this is soo different from any other drama where im always rooting for the main characters

exactly there is like a million romance movie to watch from. like dont add unnecessary tropes that will take away what make this show one of the greatest dramas.
and once again she needs saving. and once again she goes to places when she cant fight. she is totally irresponsible . i dont understand the rationale of making a character like her. in real life police move in 2s . its actual protocol for a reason. this drama continues to loose ratings as weeks go by. there was soooo much potential.
